We've been a Wilmot family for 6 years and have had nothing but positive experiences with all of the staff and school culture. Our children are thriving socially and academically and we plan to continue here for the next 4 years!

We have found a great home and community at Wilmot. We feel supported as a family and know that our son is being provided a nurturing and caring environment to grow and learn. He loves school and this is primarily due to the fantastic teachers and staff.

Wilmot truly cares about every child and their unique needs! Very low turnover in teaching staff and administration. The majority of teachers live in the community and there is a family feel. Great support for students on IEPs as well as ALPs. Teachers truly seem to love teaching at Wilmot and we love sending our kids there!

As a parent, Wilmot Elementary School has been an excellently experience for my 2E student. It provides a structured, creative, learning environment that values individuality of students at all learning-levels. With the expertise of the talented teachers and hardworking staff my son has become a self-aware thinker and problem-solver, ready for middle school.

I have been actively involved with Wilmot Elementary since 1991 when we moved to Evergreen from Blackstone, Massachusetts. Our 8 year old son started the 2nd grade at Wilmot. I began my long term relationship with Wilmot as he moved along from 2nd to 6th grade at Wilmot. I volunteered for many events at Wilmot and joined their PTA. In 1997, my youngest daughter, Sarah, started pre-school at Wilmot. My wife, Barbara joined me volunteering at Wilmot and we both were member of their PTA. We were honored to meet the many proud teachers at Wilmot and were impressed by their dedication to the students at Wilmot. We have enjoyed being there for our 2 kids as well as all of the Wilmot kids through there years and now our grandchildren who have attend Wilmot from pre-school to 5th grade before moving along to West Jeff Middle School. I still volunteer my time at Wilmot with the Watch D.O.G.S. safety program, the PTA, and a multitude of of school events. I have witness all of the work of the many teachers and staff at Wilmot over the yeas and give them high praise for their dedicated work. I look forward to my continue volunteer work at Wilmot Elementary and thank them for the opportunity to help. Please note that your question asking me what is my relationship with Wilmot Elementary does NOT allow be to identify myself as a "Grandparent."

My children have been attending Wilmot for a few years and we love this school and the community. The recent move to EL has been very welcome and the kids seem to really enjoy their learning modules. We are very active in our school community with PTA and other volunteer opportunities and the faculty and staff are very welcoming to parent engagement. We highly recommend Wilmot, go Wildcats!

The magic of being a part of Wilmot Elementary School is that it is a true extension of your family. It becomes a supportive Community that helps your children grow in all realms and develops excitement for learning and participating in school. As a parent, there are so many opportunities to get involved in my children's school experience in such fun, engaging ways that help me connect more with them and their teachers. I feel so lucky to have such an amazing, caring school to watch my kiddos grow in and would highly recommend Wilmot to any family looking to experience a school that prepares their children incredibly well and also has so much heart.

This elementary school combines all the best qualities, involved dedicate staff, great families, evolved curriculum, focus on feelings and safety. I have a child that struggles academically and all his needs are met and discussed with us- and I see improvement. Wilmot is the perfect small community school, our staff live in the area and their children attend school along mine. There are several community events held every year that bring our all the nostalgia and warm fuzzies this mom wants for her children. I honestly have zero complaints.

Wilmot is the best school for my kids I could ever hope for them. The principal and teachers are incredible. Knowing most of them and having all of them know my kids and look out for them daily is invaluable. This has been an excellent learning experience and I really can’t find enough great things to say about Wilmot! You won’t regret it if you enroll your children here!

We started at this school during Covid and although it was a difficult time, we felt supported throughout. We feel at home in this school environment. The staff all know our children, know what they like and their interests. This is truly a special environment and we are so happy to be a part of it.

This school has been wonderful for two of my sons. One of my sons is now a senior in high school and reports this was his favorite school. I have a first grader and cannot say enough about the faculty and staff support for the students and their families. This is a wonderful school that I would recommend highly without reservation.

My daughter did kindergarten here. We moved across town in first grade and she went to another school for that year. By the end of first grade, we realized we HAD to find a way back to Wilmot and have done school choice for nearly a decade for all of our kids. The community that Wimot has is unmatched. My younger son has dyslexia and the special education teachers are just so amazing and have done a great job helping him progress. I have been a Wilmot parent for 12 years now and haven’t had a single complaint. Only downside to school choice is that we can’t bus and have to drop off/pick up. The school we are zoned to is less than 5 minutes away- that should show you how strongly we feel about the quality of this school. It’s worth every minute of driving. Love the principal, all of the teachers and the whole staff! Highly recommend this school.

This will be my child’s third year at Wilmot. They have been amazing at knowing my son deeply and planning his day and work accordingly. The special education team has gone above and beyond in ensuring that he has the right accommodations and scaffolds to help him feel successful. The welcoming and kind environment at Wilmot is so apparent and so appreciated. I always feel welcome and encouraged to reach out to my kiddo’s teacher if I have any questions or concerns. I love the feeling that his teachers and my husband and myself are a team to support my child in the best ways possible.

I have two children currently at Wilmot Elementary School - going into 2nd and 5th grades. I am truly amazed by the community at Wilmot, the balance of academic preparation and leadership development, and the investment in art and music for every child. My kids went to Wilmot for less than one week before each of their teachers called me to ask about individual accommodations to ensure that they were at the right learning level for them. While I have had to fight for that level of personalization in previous schools, it was offered proactively at Wilmot.I coach a couple of middle school sports. I can tell the difference with the kids who came from Wilmot. They are respectful, confident, and excited to be there. I think this comes from being grounded in such a caring community through 5th grade!

Wilmot is such a special school! Wilmot provides the school experience that every kid deserves and that every parent dreams of for their child. After attending other local schools (public & private) we finally found our community at Wilmot. Both neurotypical and neurodiverse students flourish at Wilmot. As a former elementary educator I can speak with confidence about both the academics and social/emotional aspects of Wilmot. It is a student centered environment where children feel safe, loved & engaged while at school. The community reaches far beyond the classroom walls with clubs, choir and an amazingly inclusive PTA that provides so many other opportunities for students and families alike. The leadership and caliber of highly qualified staff that pour their hearts and souls into these kids every day continues to amaze me. We welcome you to tour our school and experience our amazing school culture. We look forward to seeing you at Wilmot soon!

I have 2 older children who graduated from Wilmot, and went on to excel, first at Evergreen Middle School, and then Evergreen High School. I also have 2 younger children currently at Wilmot, who between them have various learning difficulties. The teachers, principal, and Special Education Department (SPED) have been phenomenal with my children. The SPED team has shown true dedication in ensuring my children's needs are met, accommodating their learning styles, and treating them with empathy and kindness. This school is like a family and I feel so lucky that my children have such a loving place to call their school. The entire staff of the school is amazing as well. Everyone just loves the kids, and goes out of their way to make them each feel special. The teachers who provide "specials" (art, music, and gym) go the extra mile, and these kids enjoy their classes so much. I can't believe the art my kiddos bring home, or how excited my son is when telling me about his music class and their upcoming performances. The kids also learn computers and have a librarian dubbed "Miss Sparkle" who is always smiling and happy to see them. In the 2022/2023 school year Wilmot will be opening its Autism Center for children on the Spectrum who need additional support. This center will be fully staffed and run by someone who specializes in ASD. It's SO nice that this resource will now be available in our Mountain Community.
