We’ve had such a great experience at West Jeff over the past four years! The communication with parents is fantastic—whether it’s updates or answering questions, my kids teachers are always on top of things. The principal is amazing. She’s super involved in the school and takes care of any concerns quickly. There’s such a strong sense of community at this school. Every time I'm in the school, I’m blown away by how much the teachers care about the students. You can see their compassion and dedication in everything they do.We feel so lucky to be part of West Jeff. It’s a place where kids are truly supported and encouraged to thrive. Highly recommend it to other families!

This is our 5th year at West Jeff including preschool. All of the teachers and support staff are amazing. The PTA is very involved and has lots of fun events throughout the year, and there are several after school activities for students to join. There’s been a learning curve this year with the new earlier start time, as well as a new principal, but overall I think West Jeff is a very and close knit community.

We have attended this school for the past 4 years and it was been a wonderful experience. Everyone from the teachers to the administrative staff to the principal have been amazing. My kids are extremely happy here, they love their teachers and their friends. The teachers have done an amazing job boosting my girls confidence in all areas. We love WJES.

My children both love the teachers and staff at the school. The school does a good job of teaching the children, but not making school feel like a chore. The PTA is actively involved and hosts a variety of fun events for the community and their families.

My kids have gone to this school for the past three years, and we have been very happy here. There is definitely a stigma with it being a “center school” however l really appreciate having the added support focused specifically on social/emotional development. The staff treats everyone like family, and the new principle is great! I highly recommend this school for anyone in the area!

My students have unfortunately attended this school for Kindergarten through 5th grade and to say it has been a disappointment is an understatement. The principal is awful!!! She clearly does not belong in education. Parents beware: this is a center school. Do your research to find out what that means for your family. The behavior of the students in this school is completely out of control, probably because there are no consequences for any poor behavior. They put students on IEPs so that they aren't allowed to discipline them. There is a lack of academics and students are not challenged. There is also a lack of communication and overall lack of professionalism among the staff. The instructional coach is worthless, but that's ok because she's friends with the worthless principal. It is clear this school is lacking leadership from the top down. Parents are no longer engaged because of the lack of leadership. The principal managed to drive way some of the best teachers we had. Highly recommend choicing out to a school where there is a proven leader, where they care about their students, expect accountability, and challenge students.

WJE is a close knit community where we are limited to draw new students into our school. These funds would help us to continue to get the supplies to bring our students into the 21st century. Our students deserve the proper resources to help them meet these future challenges.
