I have two kids that attend Marshdale...one of who is on an IEP. My daughter has received nothing but the highest level of support from everyone at the school, especially the Special Ed teachers. I feel more than lucky that this is our neighborhood school.

Simply put, this is a great school with caring, educated and compassionate teachers. The Principal, Mr. Martin is a rare find and a good leader. Come rain or shine or -30 temps, that man is standing out at hug n go greeting every child and their parents. Our experience, 2 children, at Marshdale has been peerless and the kids love it.

This is our 4th year at Marshdale and we have had a great experience. The current principal, Mr.Martin, is a great leader and has great interactions with this children. The school has good communication with the parents and the teachers really care about their students. I have found that there is less drama at this school and not a lot of materialism that most schools have. The school itself is outdated, but they are set to get a new one in the near future. Overall we have loved Marshdale and think it's a great school!

Having kids in this school is a blessing. I should say I am not a huge fan of public schools. I had two kids in another system and it was horrible. Marshdale is what you would expect from a private school. From the Principal, the staff and teachers you find an across the board degree of excellence. Not only do the kids get a great education, the place is safe. I cannot say enough good about this school. I would and have highly recommend this school. You will be glad you sent your kids to Marshdale.

Marshdale is an amazing neighborhood school in a supportive community. Teachers are knowledgeable & know how to support student achievement. Our principal is supportive and invested in all student's learning. Parents are encouraged to be involved in their students learning. Great things are happening at Marshdale!

I would recommend thinking twice before enrolling your kids at this school. While it may have once been good that time is past. There have been 3 principals in the last 4 years and the current principal is not a strong leader. He provides lip service but doesn't actually implement changes discussed with parents. The class sizes are huge(28+) and kids that need any additional help are pigeon holed with low expectations. Our daughter lost a lot of confidence in her ability as a learner at this school. It is sad to see our public schools(even the ones that are supposed to be "good") in such a decline.
