My kid had a bad experience last year and we want her to switch. There was so much homework and the teachers weren't very excellent to them.

St. Patricks is a great place for children to learn. The faculty and staff are always there for the children. Many activities and learning opportunities are available for the children and families.

I was very unhappy with the public school system around the Hercules area (and in general), so I looked into private schools. My kids are currently attending St. Patrick Elementary School is Rodeo, CA. This will be our third year with the school. We are EXTREMELY happy with the staff and curriculum. I like how the school gets students from each grade get together in groups (faith families) and participate in monthly activities. Everyone know each other. The schools also incorporates the use of laptops in the classrooms, especially in the middle school, which prepares them for the future. Just wish my kids started there sooner!

We started St. Patrick when my daughter was in preschool. It was one of the best choices we have made as parents. The quality of teachers is outstanding. The academics are rigorous and we have no doubt she will be well prepared for high school. The overall environment is warm and friendly. The principal has always been approachable and is a positive leader. I would highly recommend this school.

Whoever rated this school on May 1 and April 18 must be speaking of another St. Patrick School. I have worked at many school before settling at St. Patrick School in Rodeo, and let me tell you it is the best place for a teacher to work. The principal is warm and friendly and has an open door policy for teachers, parents, and students. She is supportive of her staff and encourages us to improve our teaching each and every day. The teacher turnover rate is low and teachers have only left the school in the past 5 years because of retirement, moving out of the area, pregnancy, graduate school, and/or receiving higher positions at other schools. I would not want to work anywhere else!

I'm actually a student currently attending Saint Patrick School. I graduate later today, and I have absolutely no regrets. I have been taught well to become a Faith Filled Person of God, Life Long Learner, and a Person of Service. I disagree with all of the reviews below that state the principal is rather "snobbish" or "rude." She just happens to be one of the nicest people I know, and my mother agrees. All the staff is considerate towards the students, and every teacher is willing to help their student as best as they can, and succeed.

This school is not worth the expense. The staff is very rude and irresponsible. It may be a private school but it is not very good. My son's grades are Cs and Bs here and there all of the time. I switched him to a public school because this school was not worth it.

The principal is hot and cold.Because of this the staff changes alot each year. She is missing good feelings toward students and staff . I have seen alot of hurt because of her attitude. Father Larry does nothing to stop this. My child is no longer at this school. I have had better treatment at the public school. All they need to do is run the school with the golden rule. I would love to see loving, happy children and staff.

I have seen the changes over the years, being a graduate, mother of 3 graduates, and grandmother of 3 graduates. My children graduated from Catholic High School in the area and went on to college. All 3 have became professionals in their field. I have never regretted paying for a great education that started at St. Patrick School.

My daughter has been going to St. Patrick for 5 years and we love the school, the teachers and the total family feel! There are many opportunities to participate to get your parent hours in and be involved.
