Outstanding Experience at Hercules Middle School!Hercules Middle School is an excellent school that truly cares about its students. The teachers are dedicated, supportive, and go above and beyond to ensure students succeed academically and personally. The curriculum is well-structured, offering a great balance of core subjects and engaging electives. The school provides a safe and welcoming environment where students feel encouraged to grow and develop important life skills. The staff is approachable, and communication with parents is excellent. There are also various extracurricular activities that help students explore their interests, build friendships, and stay active. The campus is well-maintained, and the administration works hard to create a positive atmosphere for learning. It’s clear that Hercules Middle School is committed to preparing students for success in high school and beyond.

My kids have found lots of friends at this school. It appears that parents that are hands on really help their kids succeed. The teachers do great for what they are provided. No school is perfect but this one is an amazing option out here!

My kids loved it here. It’s really improved over the years despite the lack of funding that goes around to schools. Can’t complain. Can you imagine having to teach a class full of kids? I know I’m grateful for this school!

IM A JUST GRADUATED STUDENT. I WENT HERE FOR THREE YEARS. THIS REVIEW IS A RAW REAL REVIEW OF THE SCHOOL. I will make a list of pros and cons.Cons:-The school is very unorganized and you hardly get information about sports and upcoming events (besides from other students). - You’re a lucky one if you have all 6 teachers, and they are never absent for over a month. This school struggles to get teachers so expect your child to have a vacant teacher at least one year at this middle school.- The fight culture at this school is kinda crazy. There is one fight every month and sometimes more!!- If these teachers don’t change, you will be behind in science. trust me.- Usually only one bathroom open = 3-4 stalls to 300 kid ratio. Bathrooms get overcrowded during lunch-It’s not really challenging…Now here are the pros:-Most teachers here care about their students and want the best for them.- The titan store is great! You get titan tickets for good behavior and then can spend them at the titan store. They have snacks, croc charms, and even otter pops!! -The food they have here can be prepared wrong sometimes(which is the lunch lady’s fault), but they have great pizza and bbq chicken.-They have a lot of dances and 8th grade events.- You will find great people at this school, most are kind and welcoming. You WILL find someone for you.

Terrible school. Terrible principal. The principal is always seen socializing with site supervisors or hiding inside his office.

Everyone smokes and there’s a reason it’s going downhill. Should be a last choice school for everyone.

The community at this school is fantastic and it looks as if the students are in good hands.

As we wrap up our three years at HMS, I wanted to reflect on the extraordinary positive impact the school has had on our family. Our student takes full responsibility for what is expected and is ready to learn every day and has matured into a young adult. Our student knows how to navigate the campus and values diversity. Our student is well prepared for high-school academically and culturally. After interviewing and shadowing at 3 different private bay area high schools, the words to me were that his teachers at HMS prepared him well! The music program is the highlight of our time. The Music Director, Sharon Calonico is passionate, caring, incredibly talented, patient and kind. She is keeping up with the changing environment with new music programs. With technology and stress engulfing our world, I believe the brain needs music as an intellectual stimulus. As humans, we need to learn how to work together. Music weaves together these life lessons in a peaceful way while teaching our kids, what you do matters.

Hercules Middle High School Math Education is excellent. Their students were excelling in the Math competition organized by MESA at Cal State University in Hayward on 04/05/14. Mrs Cruzat and all their Math teachers are doing fantastic jobs there for those students that are goal driven and want to learn.

I am a student at Hercules. I have been here for two years, and it seems to be rather good. I am a bit of a nerd, but I am also not bullied. I really hope that all the problems with this school are dealt with because the people here are nice and I think it is an overall good school. (though the education system seems to be a bit lacking.)

My son is currently in the 6th grade at Hercules Middle and it has been the worst experience of his life. Hes had to deal with bullies, teachers who don't care and the pressure of growing up to fast due to watching the High School students just across the field. There is no sense of community, not much diversity and nothing happening after school to help keep the kids out of trouble. I would never recommend this school to anyone, especially a parent whos child coming from a 5th grade, small sheltered elementary school environment.. It's unfortunate that we moved to the city of Hercules in hopes of finding a great community to raise our children, but that is not what we have experienced. I can't wait until the end of the school year to transfer my son OUT of this horrific school! My advice, DON'T DO IT!
