Phoenix Ranch is an outstanding school. They give excellent care and education to children. Phoenix has been both academically and emotionally beneficial to my children. I would recommend this school to any parent who wants the best for their child.

My two daughters both attended Phoenix Ranch from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Then they transitioned to Santa Susana High School. Enrolling them in Phoenix is one the best decisions that I have ever made. They learned in small classes and I felt that the teachers sincerely cared about my girls and were uniformly outstanding. I also thought the extracurricular enrichment and focus on character and civic virtues at Phoenix Ranch was fabulous. With the strong foundation that Phoenix Ranch gave my girls, they were both excellent students in high school; one now attends Johns Hopkins and the other will be starting at UCLA in one month.

I love Phoenix Ranch is like a family. They are really engaged with not just the students but the parents. My daughter has been there for 4 years, we did try to move her to public school to save money... biggest mistake, only took us two months to move her back over. The small classes allow the teachers the 1:1 time the young children need at this age. The front office staff are so caring. The new ownership, I can't be happier. They want the parents to help make decisions on what the school needs to continue to grow their child's education. Our toddlers goes to the preschool now that he's old enough. He loves going to school, they are always taking pictures and sharing with the parents. How amazing, I don't get to just hear about my child's day but get to see it to. Thank you Phoenix Ranch for the caring, loving environment you provide to my children. We are a life long phoenix ranch family, I hope you decide to branch out into high schoool.

We love middle school at Phoenix ranch. We only wish we were here for elementary as well! My daughter has had anxiety over her school work and homework for years, but Phoenix ranch middle school and the experienced teachers here have not only helped her ease into being a middle schooler and learning to take charge and be responsible for oneself, but they've made her so independent and stress free while being on top of her grades! She doesn't worry about her school work anymore. Instead, she's more confident about herself and her work. Students in middle school get to participate in a variety of school activities. Participating in school sports, student council and debate has been her favorite!

My daughter's have both attended this school since they were both 3 years old. The Preschool is great. They provide much of what you need (diapers/food) and work with you if you have special requirements for your children. Their program is superior to any in the city. The TK-8th is split into two campus'. The lower division campus is great for the TK - 4th graders. The upper division 5th - 8th are located on a larger campus nearby which allows more room for the older children.Academics are the best in the city. The children at the school academically are ahead than the public schools, they win awards consistently at the county and state level (science fairs, debate team, spelling bees). All teachers are credentialed like a teacher for the district would be. This sets Phoenix apart from other private schools. They require all their teachers have the same level of education as you would find in the public school system. Everyone is experienced and does a great job.Parental involvement is encouraged and they have a Parent Action Committee to participate in.The school also has many enrichment programs you wouldn't find anywhere else.Band (Rock Band and Traditional)GleeTheaterPottery ClassesDanceGymnasticsSports (Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football)Spanish starting in PreschoolArtOutdoor SchoolBefore and After school care is included in tuition.Overall this is perhaps the best place in the city to get the best education you can!

Best school by far! Loving, caring staff and my kids never want to leave, they are our second family. No school is perfect but this one is always striving to improve and listen to parent input which is all we can ask for. 6 years at this school and I couldn't be more pleased with the experiences and opportunities my kids have been able to partake in at Phoenix Ranch.

Phoenix Ranch is a wonderful school! After my daughter's school made the announcement that it would close in June 2016, my husband and I made the difficult decision to change schools mid-year. After touring the campus, interacting with the teachers and administration and seeing Phoenix's incredible curriculum, we knew we needed to make the transition immediately. As new parents, we were nervous for our daughter as well as ourselves because everything and everyone was new to us. Everyone at Phoenix Ranch, including the parents, made us feel welcome. They have been there to answer my many questions and to make sure we knew our daughter was in capable and caring hands. My daughter has never been happier! As parents, my husband and I could not be more thrilled. My daughter wakes up every morning looking forward to being with her new class and teacher. My daughter has excitement for learning and has never once felt unwelcome or alone. Thank you Phoenix Ranch for the sense of community you have given to this new family.

There is no place like home. So if you are like a lot of us who can not stay home and have to work you want what is closest to home. That is Phoenix Ranch! My son goes to preschool here and is treated like family. It is a very loving, caring, and most important of all very safe environment. The staff is very skilled, patient, and just so fantastic! We love it here.

I had nothing but negative interactions with a few of the new parents who seem to think they can run the school. They want to pretend everything is wonderful there, but it is NOT! I don't know how these people were allowed to come into the school.

Community, education, creativity and character all come together beautifully at this school. The teachers are impressive and seem very supported by the administration. Having been at another school for 5 years - I wasn't sure this was possible to have a truly connected school with happy and driven staff. Our daughter has had to push herself academically more than we anticipated but with support and structure, she is thriving. We are thrilled with this school.

This school is absolutely phenomenal. My son started in the preschool science camp, and is now in the Transitional-Kindergarten program. The breadth of curriculum is wonderful, including math, reading, writing, computer skills, art, PE and Spanish. Learning is achieved by engaging students through multiple modalities, from songs to workbooks and hands-on exercises. Furthermore, activities are well suited to each student's abilities (e.g. different levels of reading groups), and teachers communicate student progress with parents. They have established a perfect balance where students experience appropriate challenge without too much pressure being placed on them. The after school program also includes additional enrichment opportunities that include swim lessons, music, dance and tutoring. In addition to their academic merits, Phoenix Ranch has also provided the ideal environment for my child. The small classroom size is wonderful, and EVERY SINGLE teacher and staff member with whom he has interacted has taken the time to get to know him. It never ceases to amaze me how every person we pass welcomes him and greets him by name every day, regardless if it is in the office or out on the playground. My son also has some anxiety issues, and the Phoenix Ranch team has gone above and beyond to help him. From the teachers, to the program, to the principle of the school, each person has made exceptional efforts to meet our needs, and also to maintain constant, DAILY communication with progress and updates. They also took the time to sit down and meet with us when we were transition from the summer to the school year, just to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible for him. As both a cognitive psychologist and a parent, there are a number of standards I expect to see from a school; Phoenix Ranch has not only met every criteria, but has far surpassed my greatest expectations. We could not be happier, and are so grateful for having found this gem!

My daughter attends the Preschool, started with Mrs. Silva and has now transitioned to the Bluebirds class with Mrs. Oken and Miss Binder. In all instances we love the school and the teachers. As a previous review mentioned, The teachers are very caring and gentle with all the kids, displaying great patience with even the most spirited kids. The artwork is fun and creative, while tied in to aspects of the world around us (ocean life, seasons, Alphabet) The kids have a lot of independent play time worked into the structured schedule of the day.Beyond the standard classroom setting, we love that our daughter has lessons in Technology, Art, Music, and Spanish every week! We also chose to enroll our daughter in the on-campus swim lessons (3 days/week, 1/2 hour per day). The swim teacher have shown great patience and expertise in working with the kids, and our daughter has gained a large amount of confidence while in the pool. We do not have a pool at home, so giving our daughter the ability to be in a swimming pool 3 days a week (dependent on weather of course) has been a big blessing! I would proudly recommend this school to anyone who wants a good education in a warm and caring environment.

My child attends the preschool class with Mrs. Oken. Although my son may struggle with the drop off, when I pick him up from school he is always in a great mood and talking about his day. The teachers are very caring and gentle with all the kids, displaying great patience with even the most spirited kids. The artwork is fun and creative, while tied in to aspects of the world around us (ocean life, seasons, Alphabet) In the short time my son has been enrolled his social skills have blossomed. The kids have a lot of independent play time worked into the structured schedule of the day. Having my son exposed to music, computers and art has been a bonus! The preschool at Phoenix Ranch was a great choice for my family. They take good care of my son, provide a secure environment and great curriculum.

This school is absolutely AMAZING! Mrs Moisan has been the most caring and sweetest teacher anybody could ever have. This is our first year in PR and my son has never been in a "school" environment until he started this year and I am just amazed on how well he's exceling in everything that he does in school. From learning his ABC's, to writing, counting, and almost reading small words in a book in just 6 months is simply astounding! The staff, the excellent and experienced teachers, the security guards, even the maintenance people have been nothing but warm and friendly! We love this school!

We currently have 2 children enrolled at Phoenix Ranch. Our children have been at this school since preschool, and they are now in the elementary school. We have had such a wonderful experience with the administration, teachers, and counselors. Phoenix Ranch provides a stellar academic experience for its children. From the Superkids reading program to the Singapore math program to the abundance of enrichment classes (including music, art, Spanish, technology), we feel that Phoenix Ranch is undoubtedly the best school in the area. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for the children. Our children look forward to going to school, and as parents, this is such a joy to see!

The best decision that my husband and I have made thus far regarding my son's education is enrolling him in Phoenix Ranch Preschool. Our son turned 2 in November. The curriculum has really fostered his development. In the 3 months that he has attended, he can recognize & speak his alphabet correctly. He can recognize & speak the numbers 1 through 10 and count correctly. His vocabulary has increased. He is much more confident now. There is so much more that he has learned in such a short period of time. The entire staff provide a very nurturing & supportive environment in which our son can further grow.

I currently have two children attending Phoenix Ranch and have to say that this is the best school in the city. I have never regretted my decision to have my children attend school here. My oldest child attends the elementary school and is learning at a pace far faster than her peers in public school. She's learning more as well. Not only does she get to take music and art lessons at school she's also learning Spanish and has been since Kindergarten. I have a younger child currently in the Preschool and she's learning Spanish as well. They also have started a PE program for the preschool to teach them basic physical education skills. They also have music with the music teacher weekly and will be starting sign language in the future. The staff is very nice and open and communicates well with parents. They address concerns within a timely manner and take all concerns seriously. They are accommodating to circumstances for the students and just in general nice. They're support staff (counselors) are wonderful and the kids love them.

I have three children at Phoenix Ranch. My oldest will graduate this year and move on to high school. I know he is ready because of the excellent education and that he has received at Phoenix Ranch. The middle school does a great job of teaching both responsibility and subject content. There are high expectations and my son has risen to meet them. My other two children are in fourth grade and kindergarten. They both have wonderful and caring teachers that make learning fun and they will be well prepared for the grades ahead. The administration has always been very response if I've had any small problems or concerns and this year, they are putting a lot of money into the school for updates and improvements. As a community, Phoenix Ranch is truly a special place. From the Halloween carnival to Dessert Day and the fantastic open house they have each May and much in between, families can be a true part of the community. I love Phoenix Ranch and am so glad my children have this special second family.

I can't say enough great things about this school. My kids have been going to Phoenix Ranch since they were in the preschool program. They are now in the elementary side and thriving. Here are few bullets about Phoenix Ranch that are fantastic: * Class sizes are small. Typically 12 to 18 students per class (my son's class has 11 right now!) * All grades get PE, Spanish, Art, Computer and Music. I can't speak highly enough about the wonderful enrichment teachers that teach these classes. They are amazing. * All teachers have exceptional levels of education and have been teaching in their respective grades for years. Many of the teachers have been at the school for over a decade. * The club/camp counselors are staffed by the school. So you are not getting a secondary company that comes in. They are fabulous and the kids love these counselors!!! * The school is award winning!!! Phoenix Ranch is constantly being recognized in science, math and spelling around the county and the state. * The families are great. I have met many families that have now become our friends. The sense of community is like no other. This is a great school. Come check it out!!!
