Our family chose online learning for our 2 daughters early in their lives. The International Virtual Learning Academy offers multiple platforms to choose from that accommodate different learning styles for students. Both girls have thrived in their academics. The facilitators at the school are supportive, knowledgeable and attentive. They check in every month with us with their support and offer input and expertise when needed. In addition, students gather weekly on Zoom for a book club or have art with the middle and high school students. We are very pleased, would recommend highly and plan to stay at IVLA for the foreseeable future.

My son is an 8th grader, and this is his first year at IVLA. He loves the self-paced learning system, and we’ve had a great experience as parents too. The application process was super easy, and the teachers, including his success coach, are friendly and supportive. They keep in touch with him regularly, and he feels really connected. If you’re considering a virtual school, I’d definitely recommend IVLA—it’s been a great fit for our family!

I have tried school online before, but nothing compares to the warm welcoming the teachers provide in IVLA. This school is a great option if you don't feel that public school are safe or maybe you just can't put you kid in a physical school. This establishment gives the full learning experience and more that a physical school gives. With all the clubs and activities they provide, not to mention all the types of ways and programs they give to better your studying and learning. I will always recommend IVLA.

This is my daughter's first year (11th grade) and she is very happy with the system and the overall experience. As parents, we have also had a great experience, starting with the onboarding process and all administrative matters. Mr. Patrick Navas has been an excellent Coach, informing us timely on my daughter's performance, as well as responding to all our doubts. I highly recommend IVLA.

My daughter just finished her 11th year and now continues her last year of high school. She is very happy with the school, level, apps and the response time. I really recommend this school to students who love to study, and prefer to study at their own pace.

The school has been really great for our Friends son. The schools in his country arent the best. And this has been a great option. the student has dual citenzenship so it helps when they travel while getting better at their english. The teachers have been great and helpful. His monthly check in coach is also very great. Available all the time and is our go to contact.

This is an amazing school. They are wonderful at accommodating my child’s IEP and it is the first time in 7 years of school that my son has felt successful. There are programs to meet everY kids needs. I would highly recommend this school.

My son is finishing his first semester at IVLA and he has had a great semester. Being able to control the pace of your semester helps with less stress and anxiety. There are suggested due dates to make sure you keep on track which helps a lot. My son is an athlete and travels a lot so when he is home he advances a lot knowing that he will slow a but while abroad. He actually finished 3 classes way before schedule and now is focusing on the last 2 classes. Kimberly, his success coach, has always been very available and supportive in this semester. We are very happy with IVLA so far.

I do not recommend this school to anyone! The website we use for assignments has ongoing technical issues that never seem to get fixed. When I’ve reported these problems to my teachers or coach, I’ve been told to contact the website’s support team MYSELF. This doesn’t make sense to me because the teachers are the ones requiring us to use the program. For example, I’ve been kicked out of tests and forced to start over with different questions. It’s frustrating and adds unnecessary stress. It’s also really exhausting to repeatedly explain the same issues, especially when this one teacher seems to get a bit defensive and ignore the issue instead of addressing it or at least support me.Grading is another big issue. There has been multiple times where assignments would take a long time to get graded—sometimes weeks. I’ve had to remind teachers multiple times, which shouldn’t even be necessary. Once, I waited 2 WEEKS for a single assignment to be graded. It makes me feel like grading isn’t a priority for them. It’s also difficult to interact with other students. Emails are sent about Zoom calls and events, but they’re not very effective. When I joined my first Zoom call, only a couple of teachers showed up, and no students joined. I tried again with a “Math Meetup,” zoom call, but it was just me and the teacher again. After that, I stopped trying because it didn’t seem worth it.Finally, it feels like this school is more focused on collecting money than supporting its students. Most of the grading is done by automated systems, and teacher involvement is minimal. Families are paying thousands of dollars, yet the school relies on a robot to do the majority of the work. It feels unfair. If the school is charging for education, students deserve real teaching , meaningful support, and involvement from actual educators, not just an automated system 90% of them time. When I joined IVLA, I had no idea how minimal the involvement of teachers would be. These issues have made my experience here disappointing, and I hope they improve things for future students.

I have worked at IVLA for three years, and one of my favorite things about the school is that those in administration are also teachers. It is very empowering to feel that your bosses are working along side you. Despite being a virtual school, I believe that I am able to engage my students more than I did in a traditional school. I can speak with students individually, instead of having to find a way to maneuver around the classroom to talk to students one-on-one. I also am a Success Coach, so I work with the families who are a part of the IVLA student body. I enjoy helping to make sure the program they are enrolled in is right for the individual student. There are several options even within each program to assist in differentiated instruction. The student body is also able to engage with each other through our Discord server, which is monitored by the faculty to ensure it is a safe and enjoyable experience for all students. I also have the pleasure of being the faculty sponsor for a few of our clubs, which offer extracurricular engagement for students with varying interests. My overall experience with IVLA has been very refreshing and fulling as an educator.

I have been an educator for 14 years, and IVLA is the best school for which I've worked. This is an online school that genuinely cares about the success and well-being of both its staff and its students. There is a constant effort for improvement and brainstorming on how to provide the best online learning experience possible for students. The teachers work hard to build connections, provide feedback, and communicate with families. The Coaches all work together to make connections with kids and keep everyone informed about the amazing things students are accomplishing. The leaders of IVLA want what's best for everyone and work WITH staff instead of talking at staff. I believe that if more schools took the time, care, and consideration of students and staff as IVLA does, then education could truly be transformed. International Virtual Learning Academy is the right choice if you want a school that cares for your child while providing thorough online instruction.

Our experience with IVLA has been absolutely wonderful! The teachers and staff were incredibly supportive every step of the way, always going above and beyond to ensure my student had the tools and guidance needed to succeed. They truly cared about my student’s education and well-being, providing personalized support whenever it was needed. The curriculum was engaging and thorough, allowing my student to explore subjects deeply and develop critical thinking skills. Thanks to the high-quality education and encouragement from the IVLA team, my student not only excelled academically but also gained the confidence to pursue their dreams.I’m thrilled to share that my student is now heading to university, fully prepared and excited for this next chapter. I wholeheartedly recommend IVLA to any family looking for a flexible, supportive, and impactful online education experience. Thank you, IVLA, for helping my student thrive!

My experience with IVLA has been incredibly disappointing due to its poor training process and lack of support for employees. The training is virtually nonexistent — they provide minimal initial guidance, then expect you to comb through hundreds of pages of documents stored in a Google Drive. This disorganized and overwhelming approach leaves new hires feeling unprepared for the job.Adding insult to injury, when mistakes inevitably happen due to unclear or insufficient training, management is quick to criticize rather than support. The academic director, in particular, comes across as indifferent to employee well-being and offers little to no constructive feedback or assistance.Working for IVLA feels more like navigating a minefield than being part of a supportive, professional environment. If you value clear training and supportive leadership, this may not be the right workplace for you.

IVLA has given me a lot of hope in life through the education they have given me. I'd recommend this school to anyone be it a parent or a student. Today I can say IVLA has natured me through their supportive teachers. One of the standout figures in my educational journey has been Rachel Tarbert and Dana Ahmadi, whose unwavering support has been invaluable. Not only have they guided me academically, but they have also been a pillar of emotional support, offering counseling and encouragement during challenging times. Their dedication is just a glimpse into the nurturing environment IVLA fosters.

We have had an amazing experience at IVLA and absolutely love my daughter’s Success Coach, Rachel Tarbert. She has been so helpful both from the perspective of a teacher and a Mom!

Our family loved this school! Our Success Coach Rachel was very attentive to our needs, was very supportive, and was always on top of everything! The teachers were equally supportive and helpful to our daughter, she even graduated a year early! We would highly recommend this school!

We've had Rachel Tarbert as the success coach for our daughter since we joined IVLA a few years ago and she is AMAZING!! She offers a wealth of information and is always prepared for any questions we might have. She never misses our monthly calls but is also always available whenever we need her in between calls. She is also very easy to talk to and gives excellent support when any issues arise. IVLA gives us great flexibility and Coach Tarbert has made the transition quite smooth.
