Football program and freshman coaches awful. Absolute babies telling the players dont ask to play or else they will never play. Report my kid is that half the players have gotten to play this season. If you aren’t “chosen” you won’t play. If you are thinking of playing football for legend look elsewhere.

There are many opportunities to get involved. The teachers care about their students. We had a concern when we first moved, and the leadership team handled it immediately. It's tough to move during HS, but Legend welcomed us and made it a positive experience. They helped us navigate time missed due to a longer illness and it truly made a difference in recovery. I look forward to my next student coming to Legend and experiencing the whole HS experience in one school with such a great community.

Both of my boys have gone to Legend High School (graduated 2019 and 2022) and have both loved it. They were only involved in sports for the first couple years and then found their passions in TSA, DECA, and FBLA. It's not true that Legend only cares about athletes as some of these reviews say. They encourage all students to be involved in a club and celebrate all students. My sons felt very well supported despite coming in as freshman from a charter school and literally not knowing a soul. They made friends very quickly and thrived. We open enrolled to this school because of the positive vibe my older son got on his tour and the extensive engineering and computer science class offerings. They never experienced or saw bullying. They never had a desire to be in the popular crowd - if there even is one, I never heard about it. They developed a tight group of like-minded, nice and supportive friends. Maybe they had a better experience because they took more honors and AP courses - I don't know. The staff and admin are very supportive and just fantastic, and Mr. Jacob (principal) really cares about every student. Don't hesitate to send your kids to Legend!

his school sucks, the admin create an environment where only the athletes strive to be successful. The only teachers that like their job are the coaches(which is where our principal got his start!) and the only students that think this is a good school are the oblivious athletes. All other programs and activities are under funded and most don’t have teachers that stick around long enough to make a successful program when they are all quitting due to admin. Even departments such as English which is a core are suffering because the teachers are fed up with admin! On top of that students like me realize what’s going up and are also fed up! They are purposefully oblivious to bullying, drug abuse, and ect. In fact bullying comes from staff too! Not a good place for a students well-being. They are all cocky rich kids and the school lets them get away with anything. No leadership whatsoever!

Horrible glad my child left this school! Administration did nothing to help with bullies and bad teachers. All the good teachers have left and I would never recommend this school to anyone!

This school is safe and fun to attend. The teachers are respectful to students and actually do their jobs, and students are kind to each other.

My student was in need of extra assistance and support to succeed, and we were greatly disappointed. There was zero follow through on the part of counselors and teachers and despite numerous emails and phone calls to counselors and teachers we got zero help in helping our child to be held accountable at school. One counselor vowed to do man things to help get our child on target, none of those things happened. We are at our wits end begging for help but getting no communication or support from the school. Legend's a great school for kids that are self motivated and do not require any special assistance or support, the celebrate success, if your child is struggling to be successful you can pretty much count on them to be ignored and left behind. Three failing years and only one teacher tried to work with us and remained in communication with us. I know our kid is challenging and we are frustrated and I know that our kid has to be accountable to themselves - but the complete lack of communication just makes it easier for them to think that it's okay to continue failing, because nobody cares and we are just the nagging parents. So disappointing so hopeless. if you have other options go somewhere else.

Great leadership paves the way for this school's success! Legend prepares students for careers in so many different fields. They have awesome career readiness programs and the teachers are awesome!

Don't believe all the great hype of this school! Too many over privileged kids with no adult supervision at home. Anything goes at legend from daily bullying, excessive drug/alcohol abuse, sexting cases, arrests, suicides and last years principal and assistant principals leaving. Teachers have been overheard saying how out of control all these rich kids are! Look elsewhere for an actual good school for the sake of your kids well being.

This is such a great school! I moved to Legend last year after doing horrible in Kentucky and I noticed a big difference between the two. Legend has a huge caring family environment. The staff is always talking and communicating with students and if they see a student who feels left out, they go and talk to them and then hook them up with a couple of people. The students are so caring and they show a lot of pride. The staff come from all over Eastern Colorado and they can't stop talking about how great this school is. For only being 5 years old to this day, many schools in not only Douglas County, but in Colorado is looking up to us. They want to see what Legend High School is doing. The teachers are one of the best teaching staffs in the State of Colorado. If you are a music lover, this is the high school for you. We have theater, band, orchestra, choir, and unlike other schools, you can also create your own club that you can lead. The opportunities are endless when you walk into the doors of Legend. I've only been there for a year, but I can tell you this: this school will change your life, whether it be a teacher, a staff member, or another student. You will love Legend HS!!!!

Legend is a wonderful school. I like that we are so united and supportive of one another and that really helps out in all areas. For the most part the teachers are great and helpful but there are a few that are no the best. There are high standards that keep the envoirnment really positive and happy. It is a really great school, I enjoy going to school there and would never want to change schools.

Legend is the best thing that has ever happened to me. The leadership displayed by both the outstanding staff and upperclassmen inspires me everyday to be my best. Legend provides a variety of classes to fit the needs of individual students. I'm challenged to reach my potential in a postive manner.

I retired from So Dak and moved to Co. Started driving school bus to Legend 2 years ago. All my contact with the principal, teachers, and security guards have been very positive. They are caring, kind, and professional. I am impressed with the Legend High students. They are great young adults giving me great confidence in the future. This school has earned the highest ratings.

Teachers and administrative staff are sensational, knowledgable, and really work with individual students to achieve goals. Classes are fit for students to provide challenging curriculum for all levels. School environment is outstanding, with amazing respect among everyone. The activities, from athletics to the performing arts, are ideal and there is something for every student. Legend is an amazing school.
