The minuet you walk into SME you feel the love and culture of this building. Everyone loves everyone. The passion for learning is contagious at the school.

Overall, I would say that if you child is on track with their grade level and you are looking for a nice, average school, you will likely be happy here. If you are looking for anything beyond that, you might be disappointed.

This school has been an amazing environment for our children to learn for the past six years. School leadership, support staff to all of the folks that work in the school office are so compassionate and helpful. SME is truly a magical place to have your children. We have felt that everything that SME offers is always for the best of the children and community.

This is an excellent school where every student truly matters. The teachers are amazing, the office staff is always helpful and caring, the principal is the BEST and the community is strong! My kids love it here & are growing academically and personally every day!

Stone Mountain is an amazing school. Small class sizes, a caring administration and staff, and an involved parent community are all strong contributors to its success. I feel fortunate that my children attend Stone Mountain.

Great teachers, amazing principal, and superior parent involvement! After going to another Douglas County 10 rated school, I find Stone Mountain light years ahead. The academics are consistent with the other school but the principal, parent and community involvement are where Stone Mountain shine. The energy that the principal, parents and teachers have make this school a very special place.
