We love Copper Mesa- the teachers and administration are engaged and helpful. When one of my kids required a 504 they were eager to help provide the needed supports. My kids love being here and learning.

We love this school! All 6 of my kids have or are attending this school. We have always had a positive experience and love all the teachers and staff. It is a very happy and welcoming environment!

The school has great programs for kindergartner. My child has been part of a multi-lingual program that helps him learn English. The staff and teachers are always friendly, happy and doing a great work for the children.

I have two children who attend this school and things have gone wonderfully to date. The staff is very supportive and the teachers are always proactively engaging us on ways to make sure our students are getting the most out of their elementary school education experience.Our son has had challenges with becoming frustrated throughout the school day and every year he has continued to improve in this area, with lots of support from the teachers and faculty.

As an alumni of Copper Mesa, I can attest to its incredible level of engagement with students and preparation for future education. I entered Copper Mesa in third grade and had average to below average scores. By the time I was headed to sixth grade, I had advanced learning plans for nearly all subjects. This support did not end with basic subjects like math and english; Copper Mesa offered accessible extra curricular activities such as theatre opportunities, band and orchestra, Battle of the Books, chess club, and BASE programs. Needless to say, as a current high school senior, I have always filled my schedule and I feel my time at Copper Mesa set me up with the fundamentals to balance multiple responsibilities outside of the classroom, while also maintaining academic excellence, and core connections within the classroom. Thank you Copper Mesa!

Teachers are fantastic and creative for kids wanting to learn and enjoy. I recommend anyone to attend this this school. It’s beyond anything we expected. Great environment for kids family teachers and staffs.

Our children have had a great experience at Copper Mesa. It is a wonderful neighborhood school. Its walkable location is an asset to the neighborhood. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to know each child and their family and support them. They work to develop the whole child - social and emotionally as well as academically. And, prepare kids for the next steps, both academically as well as in life. Our kids are excited to go to school each day and come home with that same excitement. It is an inclusive environment and they work hard to ensure that they meet everyone’s needs. We could not be more pleased with our experience at the school.

We have a third and sixth grader at copper Mesa and have had a wonderful experience. Truly a community school with lots of parent and teacher support. Each grade level has amazing and engaging teachers. We feel our sixth grader has been well prepared for the next chapters in life and education.

This school has been amazing for my two children. They come home everyday talking about how much they love school and can’t wait to go back. The intervention staff has gone above and beyond to help my neurodivergent son excel. As a parent, I love that my children are able to safely walk to and from school everyday with their friends. I love how active and involved the admin staff is with the students on a daily basis. It says and shows a lot about a principal and assistant principals character that they know every students name and always have a kind and encouraging word. We are lucky to have such an amazing and inclusive school in our community.

Both my children attended CME from Kindergarten-6th grade. The teachers, faculty & community are amazing. My children thrived and had a great experience at CME. The teachers prepared the kids for middle school and they were successful throughout their high school years. Thank you CME!

We live in the neighborhood and we couldn't be happier that our kids get to go to Copper Mesa. They both get to be in class with their friends, who they also get to see after school and on the weekends at the neighborhood parks, and play on the same sports teams with them. We love running into our neighbors at the school and school events - the sense of community is so welcoming and inviting!Education wise, we are just as happy. We feel that both of our children are seen and heard for who they are and what their academic strengths and weaknesses are. Copper Mesa has a wonderful intervention team, as well as acceleration services, and the smaller class sizes really let the teachers get to know their students and cater to their needs. The staff are amazing! From the principal to the janitor, every single staff member is clearly happy to work there, and always greet us with smiles. I love to volunteer my time in the classrooms to see how and what my kids are learning, and I am constantly impressed. We highly recommend Copper Mesa Elementary, both as a neighborhood school, and as an open enrollment option. It's a wonderful environment to learn, make friends and grow up in, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

My son has attended Copper Mesa ever since preschool. He is now in fifth grade and we will be proud to say we graduated from Copper Mesa elementary.! we love our principal, Mr.Getchell , and have enjoyed the support we’ve gotten from all the teachers, including our wonderful librarian, Mrs. TROXEL! The parents all help raise money for wonderful things such as a new turf field and a great snowblower that was needed for the winter to keep the walking students safe! Copper Mesa is the school to pick when you’re looking to see where you should go to get ready for middle school!

We just moved here last year and, thanks to the wonderful staff and families at Copper Mesa, our daughter had no issues with the transition whatsoever. In fact, it's like she's been here since Day 1! As cheesy as it sounds, this wonderful community of people really does treat you like family. And the best part? The school actually cares about your child's entire well being -- not just how he or she scores on tests. From the art teacher to the guidance counselor, PE instructor to the librarian, Copper Mesa is full of top-notch educators.

Love Copper Mesa! All the staff is very involved with creating such a loving learning environment. They are mindful of their students and how to help them best! Love also how involved the community is to the school. Love how it just feels like home every time we go to school/school events.

I am thrilled with my daughter's education at Copper Mesa Elementary. The school has exceeded our expectations, causing us to switch from Ben Franklin Academy to this neighborhood gem. The teachers are dedicated and skilled, providing a nurturing environment for each child's academic growth. What sets Copper Mesa apart is its loving and tight-knit community, where every child is known by name, and all the adults are familiar. Our daughter is greeted warmly by name when she arrives, creating a sense of care and belonging.
