The community is filled with supportive and involved parents and the teachers genuinely love and care about their students. The academics are challenging and there are plenty of extracurriculars for our kids to get involved in. We really love CHC and cannot imagine our kids going to a different school.

The staff, teachers, families and community are kind and welcoming. We receive the support we need to help our kids achieve success in all their efforts in school and in life. 1-2-3 Praise God!

The teachers are very passionate about their students , the parents involvement is very good and their academic standard is excellent!

From top to bottom, the school employees are engaged with for the children and for the parents. The headmaster is strong in her leadership and the culture she is creating is for caring, loving, responsive and highly ambitious learning.

From the faith-based consistency to the overall loving environment, I couldn't ask for anything more. My kids are happy to go to school every day and they are absorbing the curriculum thru a Christian lense. Such an amazing school!!

- Submitted by parent on November 29, 2022If I could give this school 0 stars I would. They retaliate against those that report bullying. There is one kid in a grade who just picks who he bullies. He moves from girl to girl. Saying things like "I wish you were dead", tripping people, throwing swings at girls faces and more. Parents ask to not have their kid in his class. However, when someone brings something up, they attack that parent. His parents must be paying a ton to be there "thriving". This school is all about the money. They will let some kids who are excelling in a subject go a grade up and refuse those who don't pay enough. That is my conclusion. Why would you let some and not all advanced kids go up in a subject. They have 1.5 teachers for 24 kids per class. You are basically paying private education for public school classes. The heads of schools are horrible humans and will punish children to hurt their parents. They don't watch the kids enough to keep them safe and fail at providing a true Christian learning space. Think twice about going here. Maybe three times.

The Biblical worldview, focus on character development and rigorous academics make for a truly exceptional education!
- Submitted by parent on May 18, 2020Cherry Hills Christian is an exceptional K-8 school that provides high quality academics and character development through a Biblical worldview. Head of School, Kati Melton, is impressive demonstrating academic vision, outstanding communication skills, and an adept aptitude to problem-solve the inevitable challenges that emerge when educating youth. Teachers display content expertise and attributes of open pedagogy. They seem genuinely happy to be working at Cherry Hills Christian and have shared these sentiments on more than one occasion. Teachers are the backbone of success at this school. Biblical studies are engaging, relevant to the developmental stages of students, and actionable through pragmatic service-oriented opportunities throughout the Denver Metro Area and beyond. Students are challenged to think, expected to behave appropriately in the learning environment, and are guided to become who God intended them to be. No institution of learning is perfect. With this being said, Cherry Hills Christian consciously strives to improve meeting the evolving needs and demands of various stakeholders. At Cherry Hills Christian, the heart is always about developing the whole child. The perception of private school is that it is for the wealthy only. We make great sacrifice to send our child to this school; it is worth every penny!
- Submitted by parent on March 31, 2020Cherry Hills Christian has been school home for our three kids since our oldest started kindergarten. Our oldest is now a sophomore in high school and was well prepared for the rigor at her college prep high school. Our middle child is finishing 8th and youngest 6th at CHC. CHC has given them a solid base of fundamentals as well as pouring into them emotionally and spiritually. They have a strong identity in Christ with the confidence to manage life’s challenges. The teachers’ commitment and heart continue to amaze me- even in this remote learning environment. The leadership Kati Melton provides is exceptional. What a blessing to be a part of this school.
- Submitted by parent on March 28, 2020Cherry Hills Christian has given our children an environment to thrive. The teachers are outstanding and the middle school experience is so different here. The kids are taught to love and respect each other. Differences are celebrated and kids are academically prepared for college prep high schools. We have been at this school from preschool through 8th grade. We are so thankful for CHC.
