We have been at the school for 7 years, we started in preschool. The sense of community and joy at this school is unmatched. The teachers are eager to help push students and the principal and vice principal know every child well. Trailblazer is an absolute treasure.

TBE is the best! Small class sizes mean they can cater to every student and every ability level. I think that's why their performance is so high- they can reach every child where they are at and lift each child up to their highest potential. The staff truly listens, the parent community is unparalleled, and it truly is a community.

I have two sons who attend Trailblazer Elementary and we absolutely love the school! It is a wonderful neighborhood school with great kids, active parents, dedicated teachers and staff, fun events throughout the year and more. The community at TBE is amazing and we are thankful to call it our school home for these elementary learning years.

Our 2 children have attended TBE since preschool, and absolutely love their school. We have seen them grow in every aspect and their learning has amazed us. The teachers at TBE truly love their students and the administrators are passionate about our school.

My son has gone to Trailblazer for 4 years now and my daughter just started. We absolutely love the school. The teachers and staff are amazing, kind, and attentive. My son has received speech therapy at Trailblazer for 4 years now, he has surpassed his goals due to the outstanding staff. They treat their students like their own kids. The school holds fun events and lots of involvement for parents. We absolutely love our neighborhood school.

Our daughter has been at Trailblazer for 3 school years, and we have loved every minute! The teachers and staff are fantastic, and managed everything so well during the craziness of Covid. My daughter is learning so much, has wonderful friends and experiences, and we all feel part of an amazing community!

We have had our 3 kids at Trailblazer for 5 years and we've loved it! My kids have been able to attend preschool at Trailblazer so the transition to kindergarten was seamless! We love the small school atmosphere that feels like a family. The principal and the school office all know the kids by name and the parents! The teachers differentiate their instruction to meet the needs of all the students in their class. We love Trailblazer!

My child attended this school for 4 years, each year things became progressively worse. My child’s learning disabilities were never recognized by the teachers, leadership or intervention staff. As parents, we saw recognized there were learning differences so had outside testing performed. The outside testing confirmed our suspicions. An IEP was created, but never executed due to inconsistent and inexperienced staff. The greatest issue with this school was the bullying. It was verbal and physical. The administration would simply pacify the bullies with candy and iPads. It was horrible for all the children that were the victims of unrelenting bullying. Teachers were unhappy and not supported. Our experience at Trailblazer was disastrous.

Our experience at TrailBlazer has been amazing. The staff is welcoming and cares deeply for every child in the building. Every staff member has passion for working with all types of learners. They made me feel like my son was as important to them as he is to me.

Trailblazer Elementary School is a welcoming and engaging environment for students and their families. Our goal is to make learning rigorous and relevant by allowing students to build important skills (like reading, writing, and math) and applying those skills to real world problems and themes. If you are looking for a student-centered environment for your child, please visit our school. We are always happy to give you a tour and answer any questions you may have.

This is our fourth year at TBE and we now have two children enrolled. TBE has definitely faced change and challenge during the last few years and we've had moments when we've wondered if it's the best option for our family. Change is never easy but sometimes it is for the best. The current Principal and PTO leadership are doing an excellent job and we are more excited than ever about all of the great things happening at our school.

This school is failing with the new supervision of the principal. I attended the 6th grade back to school night this evening and I was appalled by the lack of experience from the new teaching staff. I am seriously comtemplating removing my child from this school. The superintendent needs to get involved. Very sad to see how this school is failing now.

We have been at Trailblazer now for 5 years. And to be honest we have liked a few of the teachers, but have had more bad than good. I give it an average rating because I feel they are average. The problem is I expect more from a school in Highlands Ranch. We have one delayed child, and one advance child, so we have seen both sides. Our delayed son has been the most challenging and after they strongly encouraged us to not hold him back last year we took their "professional" opinion. After two weeks of the start of the year, we knew it was the wrong move, but too. Late. My biggest disappointment is that they really are. Not interested in going the extra step for the kids, or what is truly in the child's best interest. In my opinion, it must be that it makes them look bad in some way. I know budget's are tight, but I do not feel they have the best, especially this Rating given by this website. In leadership, you have to make hard decisions, and it feels like the principle is not able to make the hard calls. We have also had some bullying issues that have been not handled well in my opinion. We will be leaving this year. Just glad we have options.

My child spent 7 years at this school from K-6th grade and had an outstanding experience. The teachers are caring and catered to his needs, which were above average. They were very good with communication and with community events. Not only were the academics great, but this school taught virtues like compassion (there's a good amount of special needs students here) and responsibility. I can't say enough about this school.
