I absolutely love this school! I’m a Sunburst Alumni parent and my daughter is currently in her second year here. Overall it been such a wonderful experience. Her teachers have all been very kind and are quick to respond if I have ever had any questions or concerns. I also love all the events the school hosts and how involved they are with the surrounding community.

I am a Sunburst parent as well as a proud Sunburst alumni and I cannot say enough positive things about this school. The entire staff is incredible. They are all caring and communicative. The school boasts so many fantastic clubs. Cross Country, Lego Club, Garden Club, Robotics, just to name a few. There are numerous fun events for families to attend throughout the year. Trunk or Treat and Family Game Night are a couple of our favorites! What sets Sunburst apart from any other school is the strong sense of community there. It is so special and unique and my family is extremely proud to be part of it.

After switching to this school i quickly realized Sunburst isn’t just a school it is a community. The teachers are great at communicating what is going on with my student. They really care and support my child. I would recommend this school to anyone I knew.

We came to Sunburst after a few years at a local charter school. My son was struggling in reading and quickly falling behind. The charter school refused to help and I was told to go elsewhere if I didn’t like it. We decided to switch to Sunburst and I’m so glad we did. The teachers and staff supported my son and got him up to speed in no time. They built his confidence back up after years of being told he would never get it at the charter school. Everyone is amazing at Sunburst. The teachers and staff go out of their way to make you feel confident in your child’s education. I’m couldn’t be happier that we made the switch.

Sunburst used to be awesome, when Rhonda Warren was principal. The new principal, Jennifer Dial, has a different approach to her interactions. It is very obvious she has favorite teachers and staff members, and as a parent of 2 sunburst kids-I see the interactions very different with Mrs. Dial from one of my kid’s teachers to the other, because of her favoritism. It’s really too bad she is the reason TEN staff members left at the end of this year. Hopefully district will see the red flags.

Sunburst School is an awesome school! I've been part of Sunburst family since 1999 when my oldest son started kindergarten, 20+ years later still here with two students attending and i couldn't be more happy with the teachers and staff at Sunburst School!! Sunburst, you ROCK!!

My daughter has been going to Sunburst since kinder she is now a 2nd grader, I have been very pleased with them working and identifying when they struggle and getting the problem solved the best way possible. My daughter loves it here.

My son had struggled his entire school career, barely passing each year. Sunburst was the only school that took the time to identify his learning disability and get him the services he needed. This is my son's 2nd year at Sunburst and he just brought home his report card and made the Honor Roll! MY son made the Honor Roll!! I'm so proud of him and love how excited he was to bring home his report card. I have the teachers and staff of Sunburst to thank for this amazing achievement. Thank you for caring so much about your students and instilling a love of learning in them, you've changed my son's life!

Sunburst Elementary school is a very family friendly school. My step daughter is treated like family. When we see teachers outside of school or anywhere they are always friendly and caring. Sunburst acts like a small town school. My child loves it and I feel safe and confident in the school and teachers.

I have two grandchildren who attend this school. Both of my grandchildren love their teachers! I have been to many school programs and field trips. Very impressed with how the teachers all work well together and are so organized with the children. When visiting the school you must sign in and out thru the Front Office, I really like this for safety reasons!

This is my daughters first school. She has learned so much and enjoys going to school. She has an amazing teacher Ms. Hilliard.
