Ironwood is a great school. We have 3 kids that attend there and they all genuinely enjoy going to school. The staff there is very welcoming and friendly and truly cares about the students.

As, I was leaving my old job. I applied to Ironwood, Mrs. Sallee took a chance on me. I am extremely happy she took that chance. I love the staff and the students. were just not a school were family. we help our students emotionally and sometimes with home situations. I am proud to be a parent and Proud to be 4th/5th CCA Teacher

I have been extremely happy with our experience thus far at Ironwood Elementary! Due to odd zoning my daughter is actually supposed to go to Sunburst even though Ironwood is substantially closer so when it came time for kindergarten we decided to check out both schools and just felt so comfortable and at home with Ironwood! I love the staff and teachers! She's been here now for 4 years and I couldn't imagine her going anywhere else! Highly recommend ironwood!!

I would rate the experience at this school 100% and my child has learned so much and has grown as a human and has so much better behavior from this amazing school.

I have one child on a 504 plan with severe ADHD and the plan administrators have been excellent in identifying accommodations that allow him to work to his full potential. Things don't come easy for him, but he is in love with this school and I have seen him grow tremendously in his time at Ironwood. My other child is "neurotypical" and potentially gifted and he is getting the right amount of challenge and is flourishing.I love that the school offers athletic opportunities to children as young as kindergarten, having a Cross Country team, Boys Basketball team, and Girls Basketball team. There is a great focus on building the community and I love that it's not just about academic growth, but also physical, and social too.One thing I wish could be eliminated is homework, although it's fairly reasonable. However, I believe it's a District policy to assign homework.

Very poor. My son is special needs and it feels like he was just pushed threw his classes. Even when my son was ready to go to junior high, they dropped the ball on his paper work and his transportation. Now we are left to figure it out. NOT a good experience for my family.
