I had taken both of my children since kindergarten, they did all 6 years there. We always felt welcome and even when my child wasn't behaving his best was treated with respect, courtesy and given very good advice. They provide a musical show every month, their musical teacher has been recognized by the State. The ladies at the front desk have been there for the longest time and are so helpful, always with a smile. My children got great grades at the State test, above the district and the state average. It was worth the effort to drive my kids to school every day. They don't have a bus system but I don't regret making the effort daily. The principal has been there 22 years and she has made great accomplishments, getting the rating of AAAA.

An amazing school with amazing teachers, staff and administrators. My 3 boys went here and now my Granddaughter! Mrs. Hollingsworth was the principal when my boy attended and is still there that says something about what a wonderful caring woman she is. Acacia always piys the students and families first. A great well rounded education.

This is a great school. Very supportive staff and administrators. My daughter loves her school because of its safe and learning environment. Acacia also has community activities year round, which we live to attend.

I used to go to Acacia and it was always a great time, I was able to make friends and feel comfortable and safe at any place at any moment. I went there from kinder garden all the way to sixth grade and the staff and teachers were always great and I could go to any of them if I needed help with anything. The learning experience was great as well and I was able to learn all I could there, It was amazing for me and it is a great school.

All four of my children attended Acacia Elementary School under the guidance of Mrs. Hollingsworth. I spent over 12 years (due to the age gap of my children) attending various school wide events such as Open House, Parent / Teacher conferences, Back 2 School nights, fundraisers, dances, sports, music and band/strings events, ASA before and after school programs for parents, Trunk or Treat events, A+ visits, flash mob dances, ans so much more. i can not express how much gratitude I have for all the teachers and staff at Acacia and all they did for my children. I am proud to say that thanks to Acacia and the values that were instilled in my children at a young age stayed with them and gave me a nurse, an esthetician and an HVAC technician and installer. I am a proud OWL family member.

My child has attended Acacia since kindergarten. She absolutely loves going to school each day. The teachers are all wonderful and all seem to know all the students by name. They also have an awesome STEAM program with cool technology. My student comes home every day. Happy excited to tell me what she’s learned that.

This school is amazing! We drive over 30 miles one way to bring our son here. Communication from the school is great and my son is excited to come to school every day. Everyone from the administrators, to the teachers and staff are very dedicated to student achievement. Aesthetically, the classrooms are beautiful and welcoming starting with the bulletin boards outside of their rooms. If that much time and effort is put into the decor, you can imagine how much these teachers pour themselves into their students. They are constantly analyzing student data and using that to help my son achieve his educational goals. They even have space dedicated to tracking student achievement to ensure that no child is forgotten. But academics is not where it stops, because the social/emotional needs of students is constantly being met. Multiple staff members can be seen helping children when they struggle (crying, angry, ect.) and help them learn how to work through these big feelings. They also have tons of events to bring families into the school. Last year they hosted an open house, trunk or treat, a reading night where staff dressed up, as well as a musical program for every grade level. There are also multiple clubs and sports activities available for students to enjoy after school. It is evident, by the amount of time the staff dedicate of themselves after hours that this school is a place where children are truly loved. Acacia Elementary is the entire package!

As both a staff member and parent of kiddos formerly and currently enrolled, I love this school! My kiddos were enrolled before I was hired here because my local family recommended it. The whole community is so family orientated. The teachers are caring and engaging and go the extra mile for "their" kids. Between the clubs, sports and musical events there is so much extra that kids learn and do as well. I wouldn't send them anywhere else!

This school is all about appearance and money. Parents would be mortified if they knew what goes on behind closed doors with their kids at this school.

This school is amazing! My kids were attending arrowhead and after hearing all the good things Acacia has to offfer I chose to make the change to put them in Acacia. I have three kiddos - a 4th grader, 2nd grader, and 1st grader. The amount of growth each one grew blows my mind. Ms. Yousif is an amazing teacher and help my kiddos grow. Ms. Mclendon has helped me daughter read. She came to the school barely reading and now she reads books pretty much in her own. Ms. Marcum is also amazing. My youngest made his way off his iep..except for speech. That’s just three of the teachers. You can tell the principal cares- she’s been there a long time and really wants to see these kiddos succeed. The reading incentives are amazing. They have this program called ASA which is a before or after school program where they learn extra- whether it’s sports, dance, reading, math, art and other options. My kiddos got to participate in the kindness and cross country. They have a garden club and other clubs and sports, choir and band. The music program is awesome. Each grade gets perform in a musical. The last week of this school year was one to remember. Spirit themed week like neon day (black light party - made learning fun), camp out- used desks as tents - made learning fun- Hawaii day, and so many other ways they/ the teachers invest in making learning fun. Second graders did a moon lesson out of Oreos and my daughter saw the moon one night and was able to tell me the type of moon it was. They have great steam program. I love the AR points. They read books and take tests and get AR points which then you get little prizes. Kiddos went on field trips. The amount of resources, thought, and everything put into this school is something you won’t get anywhere else. My kiddos are super sad it summer break. My daughter especially- she cried…she loves this school. It’s worth the drive ( I have about a 20 minute commute to and from school). I’d choose to commute to know that my kiddos are getting what they should be plus more at school. Oh and their iep program and resources are really great too.

This school is amazing! We changed schools so my kids could experience all the things you should in elementary school! Field trips, performances, plays, learning new things etc. My son got to try out and be a lead role in an amazing play. The music teacher Mrs. Weed is awesome and what she can do with all these kids is nothing short of a miracle. I had a 2nd grader and 6th grader here and they both love the school. The principal is also awesome, she has been there for a long time and you can tell she truly cares about all her kids at the school. Kids are held accountable for their actions and they don't let bad behavior disrupt the classrooms and other kids from learning. I wish we would have changed sooner but I am glad we made it for this year!

The highly qualified staff go above and beyond to reach and support each individual student. I have had so much support from Ms. Christine and Mr. C. Their leadership is exceptional in every aspect, and I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing team of professionals!!!
