I was a little surprised at the extremely small student body upon my child's first day here. I will say that the staff is extremely friendly. I have not seen anything bad as of yet. No bullying or cliques. No bad kids causing problems for others. The only complaint is that my child hasn't really completed anything and I don't think any staff members have tried to get my child to complete the coursework. That being said, it is a go at your own pace setting, so I guess it's to be expected. I love the flexibility of the schedule we have the opportunity to create ourselves as parents of students who just can't get it right in traditional high school. I would like to see more teacher encouragement and involvement in my child's coursework. Overall I'm happy with the school. I wish there were more students to give my child the chance to make friends and develop better social skills. It's good for catching up since my child is lacking credits due to covid.

I think the staff really cares about students. With that said I think it is a call center style of education. A lot of the staff stays because of their love of the students but in the long run I don't think it was a good setting for many of the students (if not the majority). There was demand for students to finish at any cost. I don't feel like rushing students who are already struggling is the answer to true learning. They were not learning and teachers were encouraged to get them through the classes quickly. I felt like there was an expectation to expect less from students which made it hard to get students career and college ready.

Bathroom was filthy and they never cleaned it. I went back to my real school. I did like that school was only for hours and I could use my phone all the time. After summer is over my dad said I can go back if I want. Don't know if gonna.

IntelliSchool offers so much more than other schools. I've seen my daughter improve academically and with her overall attitude. She looks forward to attending class, now. The "icing on the cake" is, Principal Kokumo, Thank-you Mr. Kokumo for all the encouragement, help, and advice. It sure helps a lot.
