I am blown away by the community at Challenge. Our students amaze me day to day. Just yesterday I was greeted by a 3rd grader who shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and introduced herself. She then asked how my day was, and said she hopes to see me more on campus. This type of interaction is something I see every single day. It is so refreshing to see a young generation of kind individuals!

Challenge Charter does not support students with higher needs in my experience. My child struggled with behavioral issues and instead of using proven, free interventions that other public schools utilize, this school resorted to suspending my child over and over again. If they do use those interventions with other families, they chose not to use them with my child. Suspending kids who need additional support doesn't help - there are so many better ways to support higher need students that this school chooses not to do. If you have a child with additional needs within the general classroom, Challenge Charter is not set up to support you and your child.

As a student of this school I can say I like this school and, they are pretty protective of us but overall I think that I like going here. I think this school provides a pretty bully free environment (I don’t really care anyways). every year the school has something called apex where it raises money for the school and is pretty fun. I’m probably not supposed to say teachers names but if you ever get a teacher Ms. Tamayo she is the BEST teacher you can ask for. I also love magic school bus night where all the grades make projects and on one night we get to all go around with are friends and spot out cool projects people made based on a subject they where learning. Sadly I only have 2 magic school bus nights left till I leave the school (I’m in 5th) We also have this thing called specials where on ONE day we have, Computer Science, Art , PE , and music. There are a lot of things I have not told you about because there is so much to say!Overall, I have been in this school since kindergarten and I can say this is a pretty awesome school and I would recommend it.(This is all coming from a current student just so you know)

This school is not a safe place for your child. They have uneducated and inexperienced professionals who claim certain credentials which they, in fact, lack. They prioritize rules over social and emotional well being. They LIE to parents and put my child in danger on more than one occasion. The small handful of teachers who care and make an effort to really engage and educate is pathetic. My child left this place in tears more times than not. The best thing we did for him was to withdraw from this horrible business that calls itself a school.

Horrible school. It's so great to be on summer break, my kids actually thrive now without that place and all the bullying.

The teachers here know my daughter my by name and have treated her kindly since kindergarten. She looks forward to going to school every day and takes pride in her work. She loves math and trives in the structure. The teachers at Challenge Charter School have made my daughter so excited for new challenges that she is planning her own multiplication birthday party for her 8th birthday and she wants to get a head start on her studies. The students treat each other with kindness. The only heart breaking complaint that I have is Challenge Charter School has no library and no music program. The kids tap markers to the beat for music or drum on their desks.

I'd definitely rate this school a 9 out of 10. My son is always excited to go to school and tells me everyday how much he loves it at Challenge. Every school has their issues but Challenge has really exceeded my expectations and we couldn't be happier.

The people at this school are amazing! They really care about the well-being and education of each child. Safety and security are a high priority here. These are some of the best people I have ever worked for, you can tell teachers and staff genuinely care for one another and their students. Kids first is at the heart of their decision making. You won't regret sending your kids here.

Everyone on the staff is welcoming and it really feels like a family at Challenge. Parents are invited to volunteer and be a part of a lot of the school's activities. It is clear that everyone wants kids to succeed and it is a GREAT school!

Teachers at this school are amazing! Although expectations are set high, students at all levels have their needs met. My two very different children excelled. I also love that this school teaches Core Virtues, has high test scores, and allows students many avenues to succeed (art, STEAM, coding classes, PE, Kinesthetic learning, after school clubs, etc.).

All three of my children have attended Challenge and blossomed. The skills and knowledge they gained have helped them as they have progressed through their schooling. I only wish there was a school like Challenge when I was a child.

My experience with Challenge Charter School has been great. I trust the staff whole heartedly to educate my children. The excitement students have on campus to go to school and participate in the learning experiences sets it apart from other schools.

Challenge has done a great job of educating my children. I have two children. My oldest is now going into 9th grade and did attend Challenge K-6. My youngest is going into 6th grade at Challenge. She has been there since KG. I cannot say enough good things about this school. My oldest was an average student at Challenge. She then entered middle school. In her 8th grade year she earned all A’s and B’s the whole year, earning her the Presidential award. I never thought I would ever see this. Looking back, she could have not gotten that award without the foundation laid out by Challenge. Challenge gave her the tools she needed to succeed. I cannot thank her teachers and the administration enough for this this.

We are so lucky to have found CCS. We plan to be here for our childrens’ entire elementary years.

Poor, since the owners look down on complainers.

As far as academics, the school is very good and we could not be more pleased with the curriculum and teaching methods. However, they are overly focused on even the tiniest perceived rule violation, and the principal's lack of communication with parents is definitely problematic.
