The teachers at Greenbrier Elementary School are truly passionate about their students' learning and go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels supported and challenged. The administration is very responsive to parent concerns and actively works to address any issues that arise. The school's focus on building strong character through positive reinforcement and social-emotional learning is commendable.

My kid had been enrolled in 4 schools in different periods of time and two of them were Greenbrier Elementary SchoolAnd Aspire online Academy Which both are in Deer Valley Unified District and they both are great! Greenbrier is the best school I ever seen. All the school staff are family oriented, nice, kind and supportive! I haven’t had any issues what hadn’t solved immediately. Everyone is involved in studying process and would like to achieve one goal that is support and teach and help to their students. My daughter was so happy being there, she never faced any disrespect or mean or anything like that things there. As mom I never struggled with anything at school in my kid’s studying and wouldn’t have being helped. All the questions I had were solved by email, teachers always replied immediately or next day after. If I asked anything special while we were going through my kid’s health issues the all school staff had been so helpful and happy to support us and find the best decision for us. Thank you Greenbrier! Keep growing in doing your best!

My experience and that of my daughter’s have been very good. She has attended since kindergarten and will now be going into 4th grade. Greenbrier is a smaller school which I like. My daughter is right on target with her learning experience and in some areas she is ahead. Greenbrier has been. Good fit for both of us!

Wonderful. We transitioned from homeschool with K-12 online to Greenbrier. A friend told us about Greenbrier and when I looked on Great Schools I was convinced this would be a good fit, and it has been a great fit. I love the Core Knowledge concept and it is similar to the K-12 curriculum. My favorite thing about the Core curriculum is that it uses History and Science to incorporate a multitude of lessons for the students. We love Greenbrier and are excited about another great year!!!

We love Greenbrier! Our son just finished second grade with Mrs. Olson. She is amazing. It's very obvious that she invests a lot of time and energy into what she does. I felt that she challenged my son yet had appropriate expectations. When you spend time around her and the students, it is clear that there is a great deal of mutual respect happening. She was always very easy to contact. We were thrilled with the things he learned this year. Our daughter was in kindergarten with Mrs. Adams. I have only amazing things to say about her. She clearly enjoys what she does and I feel like she is one of those people who is meant to be a kindergarten teacher. She is very structured and organized with clear expectations for her students. She creates a wonderful learning environment where kids of all levels and abilities feel welcome. The principal, Ms Brammer is always at events and is very approachable. The school does a number of great events throughout the year which definitely gives it a strong community feel.

I have been really impressed with the kindergarten process this year. My child loves going to school and that is a wonderful start to her academic life. Early in the school year, I received a phone call from the principal (ah!). However, it was a wonderful call informing me that she makes these calls every month to students who are excelling and are nominated by their teaching for being great!! That made my day. I also love how excited my child gets for receiving sidewinders when people notice her good behavior around school. I have nothing but good things to say about Greenbrier and their preschool through kindergarten classes!

Switching schools next year. 5th grade teacher is disengaged and just has the class watching movies half the time. Almost all work is done via worksheets and she does not sanity check the work. (My kid was writing answers backwards and was never spoken to about it.) I have tried to keep lines of communication open with the teacher but she will never initiate a conversation. Even asked why my kid’s reading lexile was dripping and she literally just shrugged. Never felt that the teacher actually cared about my student. If you are an above average student, you’ll be fine here. If you need academic support, go elsewhere.

This past year was are first year at Greenbriar, let me just say that if you are looking for a wonderful kindergarten program this school is it! From the beginning at the open house the principle took the nervous pre- k kids including my son for a story and mil and cookies while the kinder teachers gave the parents their presentation. This gave parents the opportunity to listen well and made the kids, including my son feel excited and comfortable about being at a new place and starting kindergarten! I was hooked from the start and felt so at ease thinking about bringing my son. Also Ms. Most is seriously the best kindergarten teacher ever! She truly has a heart for her kids and has a love of teaching the kids. She was meant to do this! We love Greenbrier!

Greenbrier Elementary is a wonderful school. The parents are so supportive of school events and PTA fundraisers. The PTA works hard to provide enriching activities for our families and fundraise for worthy projects. The teachers go the extra mile. They love their students and are dedicated and hardworking. The principal is well respected among the staff and the community. She has been at Greenbrier twenty years and works long hours to keep the school running well. The music, PE and art programs are strong and vibrant. Students love to attend these classes.

This year was my first year sending my first daughter to kindergarten, and couldn't be more happier and pleased with choosing Greenbrier Elementary! My daughter has loved every single day of school and never wanted to miss. Great school with great teachers!

GOOD- This is a great school. They are very attentive to school safety and notifiying you if your child is absent. The choir program is amazing. School is clean. Not So Good! - Mrs. Dressman is the rudest, most unprofessional teacher I have ever met. She degrades and bullies kids instead of helping them. She constantly uses the word "consequence" and "punishment" in regards to how she handled the childrens behaviors that day. Her term is always "my classroom" my rules" Very unprofessional in my opinion. I have never experienced a teacher who acts like her. All the other teachers have been great.

Our 1st grader has had a wonderful experience at Greenbrier in his two years there. We love the Core Knowledge curriculum because we see that he is getting a well-rounded education that gives him a broad context for the facts and skills that he is learning. We also like that he practices learned skills regularly (via homework, for example), but is not so overloaded that his brain cannot retain the information. We have seen excellent progress in his reading level and his math skills. He has mastered addition and subtraction, and is dabbling with geometry. He is reading short chapter books, and his vocabulary has grown impressively.

The love of learning and a broad course of study creating background knowledge across grade levels (Preschool through 6th grade) are always on display at Greenbrier Core Knowledge Elementary. Artwork is everywhere: both classic examples of fine art and student creations of world masterpieces. Classic pieces of music are shared with our students at every grade. Classrooms and hallways overflow with project posters, dioramas, working models, and historical timelines. The tools of the trade are always in evidence - more like a living museum than anything else - so that our students can experience for themselves how the greatest ideas were first discovered and what these devices look like today: slide rule, abacus, calculator, hourglass, pendulum clock, and a spring loaded watch; and dictionaries, encyclopedias, and maps of every kind. Learning is the fundamental purpose of our school as we partner with our parents for the success of each Greenbrier student. A collaborative culture, creativity, emotional well being, physical fitness, critical thinking, and research based instructional strategies ensure the highest levels of student success. We encourage you to join our school! Jody J. Brammer, Principal Greenbrier Elementary School

What an awesome school. Attended the year ending awards assembly and the school spirit was amazing. Kids had so much respect for their teachers, staff, and school. K-2 cheered for the 3-6 graders and vise versa. After 6 years at Greenbrier (K-5), our wants/needs/desires for our child to have a positive and meaningful experience with great results is right on track. This is why as a family, we open enrolled with Greenbrier even though many other schools are closer to us. The number of honor and principal list students was tremendous and there is no doubt in my mind that she will be more than ready for middle school, high school, and college. According to one feeder school, (Highland Lakes) Greenbrier's kids score among the highest consistently when arriving from 6th grade and entering their school.Thank you for all you do Greenbrier. Keep up the great work!A proud parent

This school does not deserve any stars. This school has gone down hill in the past 5 yrs and is not getting any better. It needs to be shut down like it was suppose to be.
