    This school has given me the opportunity to become more involved in two subjects at a time, rather than being give 6 or 7 different subjects to keep track of. I enjoy school now, rather than thinking of it as a nuisance. The teachers take the time to make sure that you fully understand something before moving on. They help out when needed, unlike most teachers I have encountered at other schools. Bullying doesn't really seem to happen at this school as often as it does at the day schools. The hours are more manageable as a teenager as well, Mon-Thu, 3:00 pm - 8:20 pm. Only two blocks/classes, kind and helpful teachers, and a good working environment. I love this school and will actually be quite sad when I graduate and have to leave.

    Excellent school, and caring staff with good communication. My son really enjoys being a student at Deer Valley Academy. The evening hours M-Th, and accelerated classes work well, and offer a wonderful alternative to the traditional school system.
