This our family’s first year at Gilbert High and we have been very impressed and happy with our daughter’s experience. She has been challenged and pushed in honors and pre-IB coursework and her teachers have been very responsive to any questions or assistance we have needed. She is also involved in the band program and she has absolutely loved it. They also have an accelerated middle school on site that we will be sending our son to in a couple more years. I would strongly recommend Gilbert High if you are looking for a school with a great culture and strong focus on pushing students academically. We’ve been very happy!

The most beautiful campus I have ever seen. You can learn a lot from a school's handbook. But I was surprised that the handbook doesn't say anything about no bullying, drugs, weapons... it's very vague. Cameras are at hallway intersections but people say they're not accurate. nobody enforces dress code, so you'll see lots of belly button rings and bras. Students contantly sneak into other classes. No zero grades allowed. Every grade is automatically at least a 50% even if you're absent. But big schools are not for everyone.

A very welcoming school. The teachers truly care about your future. The students are cool and nice but also care about academics.

Went to enroll my daughter and found out half the electives are unavailable. One of the reasons I found out is they cut teachers who taught them! Also she wanted to take Agriculture and was told the "recommendation" is Chemistry. Nope! No electives No Choices Going to another HS

Too many incidents with racists kids targeting my kids! Minorities beware, Gilbert may not be safe for your children. If they are ever to stand up for themselves against such attacks they will be punished for doing so!

I was only able to attend Gilbert for one year, but it is by far my favorite high school out of the 3 I've attended. The teachers there all care about their students deeply and try their best to help us succeed. The building is huge and always kept nice and clean.

Class act school- culture of inclusion. Academically focused and great people. Staff, students, and counselors are great.

My daughters have had an outstanding experience at Gilbert HS. The teachers really want to see their students excel. My oldest was definitely college ready at ASU. She’s in the engineering program and is a 4.0 student after completing her Freshman year. A+ school for sure. You put in what you get out.

This is a horrible, horrible, horrible school. Avoid this school. The teachers are lazy. In English, they will read out loud like elementary school for weeks on end. There are certain students who control the school and teachers, and if you child is one of those---he or she will have a great experience. If your child is just "regular" prepare for failure. I wish my children never stepped foot on this damaging campus.

Gilbert High School is by far one of the most incompetent schools I have ever attended. With the exception of very few faculty and staff members, the teachers and counselors at Gilbert High are no where near professional or efficient. I would never send my child to this school.

GHS is an amazing school with a positive culture. Students work together and inspire under classmates as they begin their 4 years. The community spirit is fostered by teachers, staff and administrators. When a school this size has a principal who knows the students (ones who are not necessarily AP, Varsity or behavioral problems), you know you have a great environment. The clubs are varied, but I would highlight Tiger Town as an inspiration for this setting.

GHS is a great school period. Even though I was there for only two years this school made into a better student and person. Their Performing Arts program is amazing! The students are well behaved and care about their education. Then there is the teachers, they were amazing, all of them were extremely skilled in the job and had a deep passion to teach students, not just in education, but in teaching them to be great people.

GHS is an excellent school in many ways. They have high academic expectations, but are willing to help students meet them. Special education teachers and counselors are caring and dedicated. There are programs to prevent exclusion and bullying. The theater program and drama club are excellent. The honors and AP classes are world-class. I can't say enough good thing about GHS!

Overall, Gilbert High School is a amazing school. The academics here are excellent, and the teachers care about your success. Starting this year we got a new principal, and he has turned out to be great. The person below is horribly mistaken that the school is full of snobs. The students here are open, which means there are very few cliques, and it is easy to make friends. I was somewhat scared of starting high school, but going to Gilbert High has made everything go well.
