Both my kids attended Finley Farms and they had a great experience. The school community is strong and welcoming. My kids thoroughly enjoyed their time here. Both of them thrived in the Gifted programs they offered. They were more than prepared to enter a junior high that has honors classes. The parent organization always had great and fun events for the community. The staff are friendly and warm. I highly recommend this school.

We moved from a much larger Gilbert school to Finley Farms in 2020 and couldn't be happier. The principal is amazing- engaged with all of the students. I have three kids here (from preschool up) and they all love it.

We moved our entire family from California to Gilbert because we had read online that GPS are very supportive and on-it when it comes to kids with learning disabilities such as Autism. With that being said that has been true for us. We had anxiety about how our son would do here and if we would agree with the plans but honestly we made the right choice. The staff was so welcoming to him, already calling him by name within the first month. In class they gave him time to adjust to the class and new routine which is how it should be. This is our first school year (17-18) and so far so good.

I moved to this neighborhood because I heard about how great Finley Farms Elementary was but now with the new principal things aren't as great as they used to be. A lot of Teachers have left because they don't agree with the changes the new principal has put into place. Overall I haven't been thrilled with it at all

Finley Farms is a wonderful elementary school. I removed my boys at the end of the 2013-2014 school year from the Chandler Schools and switched to Finley Farms this past school year. I can't say enough positive things about the school. Mr. Maas, the principal, is very friendly and knows students by name. He is very visible around the school and greets everyone with a smile. The quality of education is excellent. The Chandler schools did not focus enough on math, in my opinion, and Finley Farms helped my son catch up and learn all of the necessary material. It is also nice to have the opportunity to fill out a sheet before each school year for how your child learns best and the school will place your child with a teacher that will help meet those needs. They seem to understand that children have different learning styles and do a fabulous job making school enjoyable.

I cannot say enough great things about finley farms, starting with the office staff. They are excellent, always smiling and happy to help me and beleive me I'm in there quite a bit dropping things off to my children. I have 3 children in finley farms, Mr. Maas has gone above and beyond for all the children at finley. He truly cares. My children's teachers, it brings tears to my eyes to have to think that next year we won't have the same ones. Mrs. McGettigan is our kindergarten teacher, she is so wonderful, kind, thoughtful. My child struggled to read and she gave him that extra help he needed. She has a huge heart and loves the children so much. Mrs. Melle is a god send, I have volenteered in her class and she is just amazing with her class. My daughter loves her so much. Mrs. Fullmer has really helped myself and my son this year with school and behavior issues, she volenteered her time to us when she didn't have too. I am so thankful for these 3 teachers, they deserve more then a thank you. I'm so grateful for the them.

When it was time for our son to enter Kindergarten we toured every school near us but it was Mr. Maas who sold us on FFE. He took time out of his busy day to ease all of our concerns and ensure we felt important to their school before we were even parents of a student there. When our son joined their kindergarten class he had trouble adjusting and did not do well. We were scared he would be kicked out since he didn't fit into their well oiled A rated machine but Mr. Maas stepped in, not to punish but to help. He personally met with our son on a regular basis to encourage him and worked with us and his teacher to get a individual plan in place to help him. Here time with the principal is a reward kids work hard to earn. In 1st grade things got worse with our son and we felt lost. We didn't know how to help him but their amazing staff stepped in and with the help of his amazing teacher Mrs. Lehman, their psychologist and special ed staff we were able to diagnosis his autism and now he's on a great path to success with accommodations and help from their team. The whole staff is wonderful and seem to know every parent. It's a great environment for students and parents.

Finley Farms Elementary is a very warm and welcoming environment. it is an excellent school and all faculty and staff work together as a team and follow the directives set forth by the principal, Mr. Maas. In response to the previous comment, they DO have recess. And even on rainy days or high heat advisory days, the students are their top concern and the kids stay inside to watch movies or play games, but they still have a break from their classroom studies. Our student has been here since Kindergarten and we have loved all of her teachers and with the curriculum, we feel she will be well prepared to move on in her educational career.

This will be my daughter's 3rd year at Finley farms at first I was on the fence about the teaching and how the school runs but its growing on me. I have other stories on other schools and im glad my daughter is here. I dont like that there is no recess and they have alot of homework and reading. My daughter is smart and I am greatfull but sometimes I feel like she needs a break to be a kid.

I am continuously amazed by this school. The principal is very involved in daily happenings and makes efforts to get to know each student. The teachers partner with parents to ensure the success of the class. The students are friendly and well rounded. When incidents do arise, they are handled swiftly and professionally. Selecting this school has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for my children.
