Gilbert Elementary is such a fabulous A+ school. Offering Dual Language it provides the students with an exceptional learning experience. The campus is homey and comfortable and the staff is extremely friendly, but also extremely dedicated to the students and their education. Gilbert Elementary is a real treasure and offers opportunities to children that can't be found anywhere else!

My son went to Gilbert Elementary from kindergarten through sixth grade. Education is important to our family and we were heavily involved in the school. He is currently in junior high. His elementary experience provided him with a solid foundation of friendships and education to prepare him for the rigors of junior high school. We are incredibly grateful for the school, caring teacher staff members, and the community who aided in his success. Gilbert Elementary has a family atmosphere that I don't think is found in too many places. The outdoor campus and cottages give it a warm and welcoming environment. To address social and emotional support, Gilbert Elementary has a therapy dog, named Amigo. They also have a Zen Den to support social and emotional needs. Lastly, Gilbert Elementary holds several family engagement events. From the Home 2 School Connect Night, Muffins for Moms, Donuts for Dads, Read Across America events, Tiger Fest, Celebration of Learning, and more.

My child's teacher is great and has great communication. Other children is where we are having issues. We switched due to some issues at a previous school but here the bullying is worse during recess. Even if my child let's whatever adult is watching them during recess know that another child is being mean/bullying them, they also get in trouble and has to sit out the rest of recess. I wish there were more clubs this school offered.

Great school with a very strong devotion to the community and their kids. The administration is wonderful at communicating issues and find solutions that parents and faculty work together on. They do not ignore issues and address them quickly. Teachers are all devoted to their kids and the school spirit is strong!

This school offers a Dual Language English/Spanish program and lots of extra support for the students. The culture and traditions of this school are deep, as many of the staff have worked here for a long time. It has a kind and caring staff and a beautiful campus.
