I've had children at Oak Tree Elementary since 2013. We've had them in special programs such as their preschool and ALP programs. We find that the staff always do their best to go above and beyond to get our students what they need. We love this neighborhood school

Oak Tree Elementary has exceeded my expectations. Teachers are engaged and involved, as well as all supporting staff. My child is very well supported academically, socially, and emotionally. I highly recommend Oak Tree as a safe and encouraging space your your child to learn, develop, and grow.

Mr Lunt is an amazing principle, he really cares about the students. Teachers are friendly and caring. My daughters have been there since kindergarten and have had nothing but great experiences.

This is our 6th year at Oak Tree and have multiple kids attending. This school has a wonderful community of teachers and staff, administration and parents. Our family is very grateful for the opportunities provided to my kids inside and out of the classroom. We have benefited from gifted programs and resources, clubs of all kinds, music, leadership opportunities and field trips, just to name a few. My experience working with the teachers who give so much of themselves has been so positive. Oak Tree is a special place for our family.

I have had several kids at Oak Tree Elementary School for multiple years now. I love this school! The principal, teachers, and staff care about the kids and do a great job. We have never had any significant issues.

Oak Tree works hard to provide a safe learning environment for all students. The teachers are all very passionate about teaching and they provide a lot of different club opportunities including drama, cheer, and running club. They also have an after school VIK program to watch your students if you need to pick them up later.

I have been volunteering both inside and outside of the classroom (multiple grade levels) for a number of years at Oak Tree Elementary School. I am constantly amazed by how much care, attention, and dedication the teachers and administration at the school give to each student to help them succeed. Love that they provide multiple types of extra-curriculars for students to learn outside the classroom and develop their talents (running club, drama, art, choir, etc.). Great school to have in the community!

We love this school. The teachers and staff are friendly and welcoming. The principal seems to know all of the students by name and who their siblings are. The school has a lot of fun events throughout the year that we enjoy going to. My kids’ teachers have always been great about responding quickly when I’ve had a question or concern. My kids love their teachers and friends here. This is our 4th year at Oak Tree and I would recommend it to others who want a kind and welcoming environment their kids.

Maybe my expierence was a one off situation but I have had nothing but bad things to say about this school. My child is in kindergarten and has had issues with bullying by a 6th grader that no one seems to do anything about. He has issues focusing and not one teacher is willing to help him work through. When he has issues he's just passed from class to class. In the year he has been there we have had only 1 parent teacher conference (which to me is absolutely unacceptable). It just generally seems to me that this school has no idea how to handle its students. My child comes home regularly and tells me about how his teacher doesn't like him and how they are so quick to reprimand for bad behavior but there is no praise for good behavior. I can not wait to get him out of this school and would never recommend ANYONE I know to go to this school.

What an awesome school! I subbed here for physical education and I could tell that the teachers were consistent with the students, zero behavior issues. The school was very well kept and each grade had a garden! How cool is that? Awesome school.

Oak Tree is a great school. Parent involvement is not as high and great as it should be, but that is typical everywhere now unfortunately. The parents who are involved are amazing. The teachers are fantastic. There is a new principal now and it has made a world of difference in the overall atmosphere....a much happier one. Both my students went there from K-6 and this year is my last year there. As side note: fifth grade does an amazing Oceanography Club trip and sixth grade does Science Camp in Lake Powell....this is the ONLY school currently going to Lake Powell for Science Campm

I am about to transfer my son from a very good school to oak tree shcool and I was looking at rating and reviews for this school, the first thing that got my attention was rating for teachers (3 stars) and also rating for parent involvement (3 stars) and the latest review is for 2010. I couldn't find any reviews (positive or negative) for these recent years (2012-2013-2014). I really appreciate if someone help me with giving some opinions towards this school and educational level of it.

This has to be one of the worst schools in gilbert the principal is rude has no people skills the staff picks on children they don't want to help and want of the school the nurse is worthless along with the blonde up front they all lack people skills and are rude I can say is don't send your children here
