Worst school ever!!! Teachers are so rude towards their students!! Run as far away as possible from this place!

This is my sons last year of HS and I must say that he has grown and has learned a lot and very well prepared for college. Being a child with a disabilityI was worried he would not receive the help he would need. the teachers where always helpful and would stay after school for extra help.My youngest son is a freshman at Saint Mary. and some teachers have left and there is a new principal.Most teachers are still great even the new ones. There is always one teacher out the bunch that students dislike with reason.The new principal is there to listen to the students on what happens in class and what he can do to improve the school.I hope the good teachers who really care for students stay and continue to give this small, family school good rating.

Loved this school but it’s being run into the ground by its current administration. Teachers are leaving without notice. New principal has issues ranging from explosive behavior to missing in action. Current dean of discipline is lost and is clueless.I’m not sure if we will reopen for 22/23 school year but at the current pace there is little chance.The remaining teachers that haven’t left yet are distant and offer very little. There is no more clubs and many of the sports programs are unraveling because the food teachers that coach also have left.

This school used to have a great reputation and now that has dwindled. I am so upset because I do not feel like Saint Mary's gave me proper foundations for college; I do not feel prepared at all. The teacher turnover rate is atrocious and advising is even worse. Don't get me wrong there are teachers that do try and are great, but their efforts really can't be accounted for when you've been screwed over by another teacher the year before. If I could go back, I would never have attended here. Once I went to college I transitioned from high school to college level organization and studying, but foundations wise I am struggling very hard in my STEM classes and those $$ to me, were a waste. I never really liked the school much in the first place and didn't intend to leave a review out of spite, but upon realizing my background knowledge and foundations are extremely distorted I had to put in my two cents.

This school is a big joke. The courses aren't very good. There's not much of a good selection and most of the teachers literally hand out A's. And my guidance counselor was horrible. My mom wouldn't let me go to public school, so I failed the entire year with over 40 absences so they would just kick me out. I preferred to spend an extra year in school than to hate my life for another two years. I've learned more in a month at public school than I ever did in two years at St. Mary's. Don't waste your money.
