Jefferson Elementary school is a great School! My son currently attend 4th grade and I can say that the educational program is top notch. The Principal is really strict, which give the students discipline, tech them important daily habits and minimize the bulling at school. Jefferson School is a small school with a high profiled teachers! I believe that this school deserved at list 8/10 score at great schools rating.

Lyndhurst schools are top-notch. The teachers seem to be well vetted, speak English very well and are attracted from highly rated educational backgrounds. The teachers are understanding and caring as well.

Jefferson School is a small, underrated grammar school whose rating may be affected by the special needs programs that are offered in the school. All of my children have attended this school and the education received has helped them excel academically. My son just got accepted into a top notch college of his choice after high school and my daugther who attended this school was accepted into the Bergen academies. Unfortunately, I think that acceptance to the academies from Lyndhurst has gotten more difficult as parents from other high performing Bergen counties towns have realized that the path to send their children to the academies may be easier through our school system.

My daughter was a student at Jefferson School since kindergarten. She graduated with high honors and was accepted into one of the Bergen county academies. She had amazing teachers and an amazing counselor. The school is trying to do what they can to approve facilities and academics.
