Terrible principal and some staff I has a choose I'll keep my kids home. Principal all he care about himself. Selfish person if I could put 0 nurse rude staff in the office 2 teachers 5. Aids 5 security rude 000000 over all you could still learn

Excellent public school. The principal is very involved and the teachers are caring and have good curriculum.

With one son in Kindergarten and our other in the third grade, we couldn't be happier about the experience our children have had thus far at McKenzie School. My husband and I both have advanced degrees and the education of our children is extremely important. The kindergarten teacher at McKenzie had our son reading above at a 2nd grade level by the end of the school year. Our third grader takes an extra-curricular class that gives him a competitive edge in his math class. We are thrilled with the staff and the sense of community in the school. The families that we have become friends with have strong values and a steadfast commitment to family and school. We are looking forward to our third child starting there in the Fall.

We recently moved to East Rutherford from Garfield and enrolled my daughter at Mckenzie. They have a wonderful and caring staff ! Every morning when I drop my daughter off the prinicipal is outside guiding the children inside. The principal has a very strong presence at the school and is always around if needed. The Child Study Team there is very caring and helpful in any concerns with my child. Teachers are wonderful, caring and supportive!
