The school is a joke. Very condescending to parents at every moment. God forbid you have an opinion or concern that deviates from the school objective which seems to be keeping as many kids in the school as possible. If you as a parent want to explore other schools, good luck because they will try everything to try to get you to stay until it is an inconvenience to them. Then youre magically banned from the school an labeled as a threat to your own child and others. Highly highly don not recommend this school. There are plenty of schools that will treat your child with amazing care and compassion. This school is not it.

Horrible horrible school.. the abuse between students is terrible, they are behind in education by at least a year. They do not have a school nurse. No lunch options. There staff is inconsiderate and rude to parents who are paying for their kids to attend. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

The teachers and staff are wonderful, they are so caring and nurturing. The teachers really love what they do and it shows. The students are imparted with the love of Jesus and their Faith being instilled on a daily basis. The teachers create a learning environment with goals and expectations that students are eager to master. There is a sense of belonging and the teachers make sure that students who may struggle with the learning are there the help them. It is exciting to see all the traditions and events that happen at the school; it is very much like "family."

Compared to the prior principal the new one Mr Bravo is truly trying to make things at the school happen for the children. The teachers show a great interest in there students success. I took my child out of public school because I wanted her to get a great education and to also feel a part of a community and not just a number. The schools administration help identify any learning issues and help devising a plan to intercede. With this attention to detail the students succeed and the issue is addressed.

I've several opportunities to meet with the Principal to discuss issues with my child and have never felt that my concerns were not taken seriously or went unaddressed. As parents we sometime fail to see our children's shortcomings and expect outcomes to be in our favor. This is not the case nor should it be. It's the administration's responsibility to do the right thing even if as parents we don't agree. The teachers have all been more than willing to help and make suggestions or direct me to web sites to help me understand what I as a parent need to know to help my child be successful. I would like to see more technology but understand that funding is limited and better to have the 3 Rs taught daily. I know that I am very involved in St. Jerome as a community. I volunteer when asked and stop in when possible to see what I can do. Something I think every parent should do. Having a more active and visible PTA would also help parents understand the needs of the school in general . Thank you St. Jerome for seeing my child as an individual and not just another student passing through your doors.

St. Jerome strives to improve the education and school experience of its students, families, faculty and staff. We value feedback and recently received the following feedback from a parent: “I have a child with special needs who attends this school. In his previous school, he experienced a great deal of bullying. I was afraid of what his experience would be like at St. Jerome. I have had a wonderful experience. My son is happy at school. He comes home happy and is eager to go back. This itself is worth the transfer! Bullying has been in his experience in the past but not at St. Jerome. The teachers and staff have been available to me and I have always felt welcome.”

The school’s Catholic identity has increased tremendously! I have also seen the school honor our veterans and do service projeyfor the poor. On the academic side, my daughter was struggling in reading and the school worked with her and her scores have increased.

Do not send your child to St. Jerome school, a lot of bullying, no nurse, library or technology, you pay a high tuition for poor education and does not provide a safe environment, they don’t resolve problems, they hide them, someone else here wrote “They love to brush bad things that happen under the rug” and that person is right.

St. Jerome has been a wonderful experience since it's inception over 40 years ago. I attended as a child and my children are currently enrolled. The staff is wonderful, knowledgable and caring. A deep faith is always their top priority and my daughter is well prepared for her next step education, high school, because of the Pastor, Principle and staff. The parishoners also help the school in so many ways. I would recommend this school over any other in the diocese. Great job to all, thank you, and always God bless.

St. Jerome is a horrible, horrible unsafe school. DO NOT send your children to this school! The principal and staff absolutely do not care about student safety, or about them at all. They love to brush bad things that happen under the rug... Never trust your precious child with them.

The parents/families and most of the teachers are really great. The principal is a disappointment. He is not "hands on". He does not seem to care when there is a problem. He does not reply to emails in a timely manner (I have had to email him two or three times for simple answers which eventually were answered by his staff instead). He has other staff members handle issues such as discipline, bullying, and other parent concerns. A principal who really cares would be a great benefit to this school.
