Cactus Wren has been a great school for our student and family. Along with the family feel and support we’ve received for our student, we have also seen a drastic incline in our students academics. The staff and principal do a wonderful job with communicating to parents and providing events for the cactus Wren community.

My children thoroughly enjoy attending school here. They receive comprehensive support, encompassing not only education but also the staff's dedication to ensuring students' safety and happiness. For an extended period of time the kids wanted me to be “part” of the school one way or another because they loved it so much , I finally joined PTO !! Congratulations on all the achievements Cactus Wren !!!

It has been refreshing to see the positive changes happening at Cactus Wren over the last year and a half. With new administration and leadership, the campus atmosphere has a new energy and sense of excitement to it! Families have been invited to multiple new engagement events including family movie night, and the Spring Festival. It is evident that the school is focusing on both student well-being and academics as they have gone from a D to a B rated school in one year! I'm proud to be a part of this community and to see all the growth and change that will continue to happen.

Cactus Wren has a family feel about it that comes directly from the top of the administration! The students are always friendly and respectful and seem to be very engaged in what they're learning. The teaching staff, for the most part, is always friendly to visitors while keeping a protective eye on their students. The schools grounds are maintained very well and the office is always organized and ready to respond.

Terrible! School has no communion with the parent ! They try to run this place like a boot camp sitting on the wall in the hot sun for 15 mins with no shade or water for 3 days straight teacher very unprofessional rolling their eyes and hating on the principal the office staff is very rude and unfriendly only one I actually think is very nice is the school nurse !!!!

school sent my daughter home bruised and hit on several occasions. failed to properly notify me, once police report was made on our behalf school began to target our child as A Danger to self and others, conveniently...Educators have presented themselves as not qualified to deal with our Autistic child A.. The shame here is that ADULTS in covering up whats really going on are Bullying children. Our child will NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS SCHOOL.

My experience with Cactus Wren has been very positive. My two children have attended the school for the past two years and are doing very well. The teachers care about the students and have been available for me as a parent when I needed to speak with them. My kids have been able to attain good grades making the principals list and honor roll. The uniforms are something I like about the school even though some people do not. The principal is dedicated and works hard to make the school a good place for the students. She also sets a good example for the rest of the staff. I think this is a great place for my kids education.

We came from a different city. My son started 2nd grade at Cactus Wren. To my shock I was informed within the first month of school my son was reading at a low kindergarten level. His teacher at the time went out of her way to work with him. It was tough & we even had him enrolled in their after school academy. By the end of the school year he was reading at an intermediate 2nd grade level. His 2nd grade teacher is AMAZING. His 3rd grade teacher was not so "exceptional" but none the less still a good teacher...The staff is amazing & courteous...Office ladies are amazing & helpful...& I absolutely love how involved the principal is with students & parents...over all my son loved this school as did my husband & I...my son will be attending a new school next year but only because we have moved out of the district...

I moved my child here from a "school of choice" because they refused to work with my son. At this school my son found structure and compassion and guidance. The principal is helpful and communicative and my child's kindergarden and 1st grade teacher (so far) are/were wonderful. I was always able to get in touch with them via email or by leaving messages and always received quick responses. I'm also thrilled with the Kidspace staff here.

There is no communication from the school to parents when it comes to events or deadlines. My daughter attended her first year at school here and I am very dissatisfied with this school at its teacher quality. My child will NOT be attending this school next year.

I used to go to this school for 6 years. I'm in high school now. I must say, this school is a joke. My brother is fourth grader here now. They told my brother he has A.D.H.D, the medicine didn't do anything. He was perfectly fine! The make my day system in horrible. It's pointless, just like their point system and steps. It doesn't help kids in life. The school is disorganized, the office people are rude, the principal doesn't even make an attempt to get to know you or your child, and most of the children don't speak english. Most of the teachers aren't fit for teaching, although, the teachers who teach the younger students like first graders, are good teachers. I didn't have a good experience from this school.

School administration is quite incompetent and rude. As a foster parent i am quite dissatisfied with they way they conduct business, and handle problems with the children and other parents.
