My kid attends this school In my experience, at this school he doesn't feel excited about what he's learning because the teachers disrespect him whenever he asks questions. He's constantly targeted by other students who are of other races other than his. He complains daily to me about threats that he receives from these misguided children and he is scared to attend this school. He even came home one day with some bruises from other students whipping him with sticks and calling him inappropriate names. In my experience, this school does not not provide a safe environment from violence, discrimination, and harsh punishment. The History teacher would shut down his claims when ever he would report any wrong doing calling him a "snitch." Does that sound like proper school that you would want your child to grow up in? This is a hostile environment hindering bright and colored students with creative minds.

The teachers are absolutely wonderful and the teachers that my son had gave high expectations. It reflects on his grades and he gets honor roll every quarter. I would have given this school a higher score if it wasn't for the staff and management. The staff at the front desk are very rude and unprofessional. Need an issue resolved, don't count on management to get back to you. Management does not respond back via email or telephone.

Do not donate to this school's non proflt. I have asked the business manager on 5 seperate occasions for my tax deduction receipts I have donated over 500.00 in school supplies for impoverished children and more than 300.00 in class supplies and personal grooming products for needy students.

I love Imagine Cortez Park! The teachers and staff are always friendly and welcoming when you enter the school. Teachers go the extra mile to build relationships with students and always offer additional help when needed.

Not only do I love working with some of the most talented teachers and staff, I love my students! We have some of the most creative and innovative thinkers. Imagine Cortez Park has a place in my heart.

The education and teachers were acceptable. The management was a complete failure. After an incident with my son's medication, I found out that they had no records of my son's medication for 3 months. Schedule II medication and no tracking whatsoever. The management failed to investigate the incident until I contacted the national parent company. Even after the incident, they failed to administer my sons medication 20% of the time... A prime example of everything that is wrong with the charter school system. Poor supervision and reckless management. My son will not be attending this school next year.
