My daughter is a 7th grader and so far this has been one of her best years (her words). She found here classmates and teachers who appreciate her and support her the way she hasn’t before. Teachers and staff have been amazing and I truly appreciate the effort put into all they do. They have many sports and extracurricular programs and I love the way they let students be leaders.

My son is in 8th grade here.. he is autistic and a very quiet shy kid.. to see him perform a solo at the recital made my heart happy.. it lets me know that he feels, safe, seen, heard and loved.. thank you cholla faculty, immensely!

I had three of my children come to Cholla Middle School. Each of them had their own experience there as a Middle schooler and as a parent, I had only experience good customer service from the front office. All their teachers show them the support that they needed and went above and beyond to make sure that they got the one on one assistance they needed to prepare them for the next grade level. With today society, I feel the teachers and staff are doing the best that they can with supporting each and every individual child that comes through their school and they try to accommodate every parent that wants the best for the children. Thank you to all the Teachers and Staff at Cholla Middle School for all that you do for our future generations!

As a parent of a 7th grader at Cholla Middle School, I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience our family has had so far. The school goes above and beyond to support students in their academics, offering numerous resources like the after-school academy, which has been a fantastic experience for my child. Additionally, the music program has been a highlight, providing both a creative outlet and a sense of belonging for my student.What truly sets Cholla apart is its commitment to involving parents and families in the students’ education. The staff is welcoming, communicative, and dedicated to creating a strong school community. My child is thriving academically and socially, and it’s clear the school prioritizes both. I highly recommend Cholla Middle School for anyone looking for a supportive and engaging middle school experience.

This school is great! The teachers are great! The activities are amazing! How do they do all this? Do any of them ever sleep or are they always planning the next activity for kids to enjoy? It is clear teachers care about the students. I just wish someone would give them some money for proper updates in classroom furniture!

The staff at Cholla Middle School are BY FAR the most amazing people you'd ever want to meet! They take the time to get to know each and every student on a personal level so that each child feels important. The teachers work hard to create a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment. They also make sure to include LOTS of exciting after school activities like sports, dances, staff vs. students games, as well as the After School Academy for additional enrichment. Overall, I am most impressed with how well the staff works together to make Cholla a "family" environment. Your kids will love their time here at CMS!

As a math teacher at Cholla Middle School, I can share with you that Cholla has put a focus on helping students become more proficient in math.We have gone to blocks of math and use a differentiated program called Freckle. Each student works at their own pace and level. Math teachers work with students in small groups on specific skills during this time and are able to fill in learning gaps.This is just one of the reasons I will be back at Cholla Middle School again next year. Another reason is the positive energy.Cholla celebrates the positive in students. Using "Charging Forward" coupons that are presented for doing great things, Cholla recognizes the good actions students do to help each other every day. Students are also celebrated at semester assemblies for school involvement in sports, clubs, and for Honor Roll and Principal's List for excellent grades. W even do a certificate for "On a Roll" for students showing growth. And that's what a school should be about... growth. We are the school after grade school and before high school. Our job is to help our students grow and be ready for high school. I believe Cholla does this well.

Cholla Middle School is an amazing school to teach at! The administration is extremely supportive and provides an enjoyable work environment. All of the staff members are positive and love what they do! Students come to school ready and excited to learn and the classrooms are full of engaging lessons. There have been a ton of community events hosted by Cholla to promote family engagement and involve the surrounding community. I feel so lucky I get to come to Cholla everyday, it really is a special place to be.

I have been a teacher at Cholla Middle School for eight years and have found it to be both a safe and inviting environment for faculty and students. We offer Special Needs classes along with Advanced and FLEX programs for our students. Strategies are in place to help our students with their emotional needs as well as their academic needs. Teachers utilize data and other methods to enhance student achievement. We have Music, Band, and Art programs along with a variety of sporting events. Our school provides a well-rounded community atmosphere to aid students both inside and outside the classroom.

Cholla is an incredible place to be a part of. The leadership at Cholla is extremely positive and promotes an amazing working atmosphere. In addition, the staff works as a team to create a very motivated student body that makes it enjoyable to come to work everyday.

Ever since my employment at Cholla Middle school I have been happier than I have ever been. Waking up in the morning I don't ever hit snooze and I often wake up before my alarm because I am so excited for work. I absolutely love the atmosphere created by our admin and entire staff. Everyone from Principal Pallagi to the cafeteria staff are incredible. I am constantly trying to get friends of mine that are teachers to come join the team. I truly think this is a very special school and feel so lucky and blessed to work there.

I am a Teacher at Cholla Middle School, this is my Eighth year at the school and my Twenty second year in education. Cholla is the fourth school that I have worked at during my career. Cholla is by far the best school that I have worked at, the culture that is built at this school is like no other that I have seen. The Administration team extremely student oriented and gets the students and their opinions involved in as many ways as possible. The staff at Cholla really is like a family, not only work together but many are close friends outside of campus. I am proud to say that I have many life long friends that I have met at Cholla. No school will ever be effective without the support and collaboration with the community. At Cholla we have a variety of ways to involve parents and community. In the last few years we have implemented Student Success Assemblies where students are recognized for their Academic, Attendance, Sports performance, and many other things. Parents are invited to come to the campus and be involved in celebrating their students accomplishments.As far as community involvement just to mention a couple of the things that Cholla does is we have a "Love Our Schools Day", on this day volunteers from a variety fo community organizations and churches come to the school and do projects to make the school look and feel more inviting to the students and staff. Probably the biggest community event for the campus each year is "Trunk or Treat", parents and Teachers are invited to come to the schools near Halloween and decorate their vehicles and pass out candy to the neighborhood kids, a good time is had by all. These are just a couple of the many ways that Cholla is involved with the community and that the community is involved at Cholla.This review is coming from someone who is involved with the school, but I can honestly say that if any of my grandchildren were looking for a school I would highly recommend Cholla Middle School.

Cholla is a school that does an amazing job at making education fun and enjoyable. The school has so much personality and it all starts at the top with the principal and how she keeps a positive energy. The community embraces diversity, and encourage students to be themselves because they create a safe environment. The classrooms are full enthusiastic teachers, engaged students and great vibes.

Cholla is a great place to be. Teachers are on board to ensure a positive experience for every student. They work really hard to meet each individual student's academic and behavioral needs. They also provide so many fun and memorable experiences.

Cholla Middle School "Is a GREAT place to be"!!! That has been the slogan since my son has started this school and he just recently promoted to the 9th grade. The office staff was always so helpful even with dealing with outrageous parents whose child could do no wrong. They greeted you with a smile and "Have a good day" were their exit words. The Principal was always helpful and to answer any parents concerns. The Student advisor dealt with the discipline and student schedules in a very timely manner. The teachers were all good with cordinating any meetings with parents to keep them up to date with students progress and with the district getting up to spped, all teachers have thier own website where you can go in and check the calendars of the students agendas and assignments schedules. The cafeteria might not have the food that an average teenager would want to eat but it was all design to make sure that our students are eating the right portion of a average meal. If we can get more parents involved in their child school, the PTO could use some help. I could go on and on with this review but there are not enough words to express how much Cholla "Is a GREAT place to be"!!

I just promoted from Cholla and I have to say that those were the best two school years I've ever experienced. The advanced classes and gifted program is great. I feel well prepared for honors classes in high school. All of my teachers and the staff members were very nice, respectful, caring, and helpful. I have no complaints.

My school is Cholla Middle School. The office staff is unfriendly and there is never any parking for parents in the front parking lot. You get the feeling that the heads of this school have their own agenda and could care less about any concerns you convey, It is like they are dismissing you and just nodding in agreement and then never act on it just to get you off the phone or out of their office.

I am a parent of three children who has and one that still is in this school. I have lived here for twenty years. I have to admit it was not the model school in the past. I know that there are a lot of teachers and staff that are going above and beyond what is required of them to ensure that our children are doing and being the best they can be. I believe we have one of the best Principals leading the charge to achieve greatness in all our children.

Cholla has a great teachers who do care for your education. They make sure that every student is safe from harm. Also, the principal is very trustworthy and very easy to talk too. Cholla middle is the best middle school you can go to. I switched from different schools and this one is the best by far. Go to this school, you will NOT regret it!
