    We decided to stay in Auburndale mainly because of Burr school, very happy with the teachers, school programs, demographic balance and constant communication with parents.

    We had recently relocated to Newton and my then 7 year old found the Relocation tough as she missed her friends and family. The teachers at Burr are phenomenal, committed and caring. All the teachers have gone above and beyond in ensuring my daughter adjusts, is comfortable and enjoys learning at school. The school has a highly involved parent community. Any concerns or feedback shared are genuinely heard and addressed. I found the principal and staff to be open and transparent. It’s a 10/10 school

    We have had a great elementary experience at Burr. Our daughter has grown to be a stronger, intellectually challenged and a better individual in general. Burr has wonderful all year round activities organized by very involved PTO and academic programs well planned with help from staff, families and education board.

    Repeated requests for evals ignored...facilitator overbearing, principal doesn't listen to parents, overprotective of staff who are failing your child. Completely unhappy & unimpressed.

    great school - perfect if your child has an IEP - they are AMAZING with the way they help the children with their needs - all kids needs are different!
