I agree with all the positive remarks in the previous reviews. My child started in Gr 6 and we've been very happy at Meadowbrook. What we like most: multiple levels in math & English so all students are appropriately challenged, engaged teachers, terrific heads of school & middle school who welcome parent input and create a welcoming, friendly community. MS sports program is somewhat limited and not "strong" across the board, so if your child wants robust athletic development, they may need to do so outside the school's program.

Excellent academics and very nurturing in the early grades. The teachers really get to know their students. The school makes an effort to really nurture the whole child and provides appropriate challenges to kids who require more. Our child is extremely happy here!

We've been thrilled about the quality of the experience for our child. Excellent academics, with just enough gentle pushing to challenge the bright ones without creating a lot of stress. Small classes, excellent facilities, generally superb teachers. Even more, we like the administration, which has done a terrific job recruiting teachers to the new-ish middle school and creating an environment where cliques and backstabbing are not a problem. Relations among students are friendly even among those that aren't close friends. Support in applying to high schools is very good, with on-target advice and excellent work on the recommendations. We almost didn't look here, as the consultant we were using (we knew nothing about the scene) wrinkled his nose and said 'well, the parents are kind of glitzy and there are a lot of expensive cars in the pick-up line. But the kids are really nice and they work hard.' So correct!
