Pinecrest Elementary is an amazing school providing a great education to its students. They have the best teachers, most parent participation, great programs and sense of security for its students.

Although supposedly one of the best rated schools in the county, I would say this is about an average school.

Relocated to this area and our son transitioned well into 3rd grade mid-year. Great teachers and kind students. Overall great experience. He’s in the gifted program now and still doing very well! Love it! Great, nurturing environment.

From PreK and not a word in English, I've seen my little one, obtain an excellent education, I'm not moving out just because of the school

My family has had a wonderful experience at Pinecrest Elementary and we strongly support our school in every way we can! We are grateful for all of the staff, parents and friends we have met here and look forward to many wonderful years at this school and wonderful long lasting friendships for our children.

Overall we love this school. The only thing I hope they consider changing is inviting parents to celebrate their kids more in school. They are all for inviting you to volunteer, bring items they need, raise money, donate, etc. But you will never see your child get an honor roll ceremony, a Christmas show, nothing. One of my kid's got principals honor roll and nothing. Her old school would hold a special principals honor roll ceremony at night and actually invite parents on stage to congratulate their hard work at home in encouraging great study habits. Something for them to think about. Also, Christmas chorus show is for your kids to perform for the teachers only as well. No parents. Sad that I don't have many memories of elementary except from her old school.

My child has attended Pinecrest Elementary since Kindergarten and is currently completing Fifth Grade. Over the years I have had a few instances where I needed the assistance and guidance from the administration. Each and every time, they were there to listen and fully assist me and my child with our needs. The administration and faculty is very understanding of the student's and parent's needs and very involved in a schools activities. Over the years I have been very pleased with Pinecrest Elementary and what it has to offer.

Our experience has been disappointing. We have felt unsupported and extremely sad to have missed out on so many fun elementary school experiences. I would love to see my children perform or get an award, but so far we have not been able to do that.

We love Pinecrest Elementary! We had Mrs. Meyer for pre k and couldn’t have asked for a better Teacher! She truly shows through all of her students she has gift for teaching.

We had a fantastic year at Pinecrest Elementary. We moved to Miami last July and felt welcomed by staff and children for our first year here. When we considered school, I had researched private schools in the area and one of our top schools (that was already full) said that Pinecrest was "like a miniature private school" with qualified effecting teachers and extremely motivated and involved parents. We have had a fantastic year.

This school provides the best a school can offer. It is large enough to offer a variety of opportunities for my children and small enough to have a family feel. There are many opportunities for parent involvement. In some ways, it is like a charter school yet it has the charm of a neighborhood school. I love that my children's friends live close by and that we see other PES families around our community. It really is an excellent option.
