This school is in need of an overhaul, starting with the principal.!!! The principal should be an advocate for students. The non-verbal expressions reflect a principal who does not want anything to do with students or parents. Very stand offish with a mean mug.

Worst elementary school in Newton County Georgia. The staff is rude. They aren’t helpful at all and since COVID happened they treat the parents as if we are walking viruses. I’m very sad that I moved into this area of Newton County. They also aren’t helpful when your children’s coats, backpacks, lunchboxes, water bottles, etc. go missing and never show up in the lost and found.

Racism is at a all time high when it comes to African Americans students. Teachers lie on students , call then inappropriate names and talk bad about children that have learning disabilities. Teachers and the Principal Bully students by calling them names. They hate an intelligent African Americans they look down upon it.

10 out of 10 I have had no problems with this school or staff. They have made a lot of positive improvements over the years and welcome any suggestions. We LOVE OHES and wish we could stay here until 12th grade.

Like every school it has good and not so good teachers in every grade. The school is clean, safe and the administration does their job balancing the budget and meeting student needs. How your child adapts to any school depends on their personality. My child was moved from a private school where she felt confined to Oak Hill where she feels free. Read your child to determine what setting is best for them. I am happy with this school and have had a positive experience.

My son only attended this school for 3 months in Kindergarten until we could relocate to another state in a top rated school district. DO NOT send your children to this low rated school for convenience. Just because you are zoned for a school doesn't mean you should send your kids there!

Pleassseeeeee don't send your babies to this school. The principal don't speak or smile at all just RUDE. And the assist is even worse she tell lies. Just sad but what goes up must come down. Is all I can say. I can go on and on about this school with bad things they've done. And the head receptionist is very rude as well. I wish I knew all this before I went here because now my kids have bad nerves. I'm glad my family members and Doctor advised me to get my children remove because they were hearing this a lot with this school. Just sad.

The assist principal is Very rude reason for my review. I also have not had had any help with my child in a certain subject, the school pushes Internet help. Not everybody has Internet at home. Not everybody can go to the library everyday. They have no child left behind time will tell when the Crct comes around. Yep silent time in the cafeteria why? Kids are kids let them enjoy eating.
