I love my kids school, especially Ms. Russel in the front office. She is so amazing, I know I can always depend on her. Her personality is always the same never changes. My daughter teacher Ms. Martin in the fourth grade has volunteered her own time to stay and help my daughter to be successful this school year. These two women go above and beyond . I appreciate you both for all you do. And I’m proud to say my kids are Live oak Lions

If I could give it no stars I would give it zero stars or even negative stars because it's the worst school in the history of schools

I give live Oak Elementary school 7 out of ten. I think that this is an excellent school. Teachers and other staff members work very well together. Each week a College is selected, this helps children focus on their future a head, and instill a need for how important graduation is to each child.

This school makes parents feel welcome to visit at any time. They stay in contact with parents. My daughter has always had dedicated teachers. It has a lot of technology like iPads and smart boards.

I've taught at Live Oak since its opening. I am extremely pleased with how the administration and teachers work together with the students as a top priority. High expectations of students and teachers are clearly defined and evident. Prior to Live Oak, I've taught in Sumter, Ware, Cobb, and Gwinnett Counties. After nearly 20 years of teaching, Live Oak has been one if the best schools I've been associated with, and would not hesitate to enroll my children.

Our daughter has been in this school since kindergarten, she is now in the first grade. Our experience has been very positive. Everyone that we have encountered from administration to teachers have been amazing. When she was being harassed by another student it was handled immediately and effectively by the assistant principal. Any issue or concerns that we've had were addressed in a respectful and timely manner. Although there is some overcrowding in the classrooms, that is more of a state budget issue and not anything that an individual school can control. However, in spite of overcrowding, her teachers have gone above and beyond to continue to stimulate her thirst for knowledge and challenge her to go beyond her comfort zone. They encourage parent involvement and create a welcoming environment for both parent and student, and do an excellent job of keeping the parents update on events and activities.

Live Oak Elementary is a great school that is offering different programs for our students to assure that they have tutoring and the resources needed to excel and be their best. The principal has exampled great customer service. She will talk with the parents and address concerns, she is positive and energetic. She cares! I appreciate the teachers and staff and their positive attitudes with the children. Let's Go Live Oak Lions!

What can I say about this school. THE WORST SCHOOL EVER. My child went to this school for one year, and there's nothing good I can say about the school. The teachers are absolutely the worse. I went to the school for an activity, and I sat back and watched how rudely the teachers were with the children. I was like "I guess when I'm not around, they would speak the same way to my child". Black and white teachers, speak very poorly to the kids. I honestly don't know how these teachers have degrees and certification. It was so bad on a sunday, my son would get depressed that he have to return to that horrible school. Honestly, it looks like they put all the black kids together at one school and gave then the worst of the worst teachers. Beautiful school as far as appearance, but PLEASE don't be fooled by the appearance.

Terrible. Terrible is an understatement. Rude teachers and the administration is even worse. If you have any other chance to send you child somewhere else please consider it. The place is completely dysfunctional. The worse school my children ever attended. They should consider revaluating the staff and set higher standards for student growth.

May 5/21/2013 I just left my childs graduation and she was a straight A student along with the rest of her 5th graduation class. The majority were honor roll and many with Principal awards. The evening was full of achievements. I know the teachers are incredible and caring. This school is excellent and anyone there tonight wouldn't tell you any different. I highly recommend students, parents and teacher to continue on growing in knowledge.
