I went to this school K5-Senior and graduated here.I went to SLCS as well as the church, LABC.It is a very legalistic school. Here is just a few of their rules:You are required to bring and read 1 Bible (KJV).You are required to have the principal as a friend on your social media accounts. Students are not allowed to go to movie theaters. Women can never wear pants and have to wear long skirts below the knee. Women have to have an extremely high neckline. Every morning the women have to walk in a circle around a teacher who eyes and tells them if their clothes are not modest enough and need to go home and change. If you sing in choir you can not “slide” when you sing and have strict singing guidelines.Why do they have all these rules? To help with education? No, they have strict legalistic rules be due if you don’t abide by these rules then you are extremely “worldly” and at State Line you are a Christian and need to be not like the “world”.Their rules are not scriptural is the issue. They are just rules they make up. I think they are attempting to produce legalistic drones but the issue is as soon as students graduate they typically go off the deep end because they think being a Christian means following all these rules. They don’t teach you what it truly means to be a Christian.I wish the school offered a counselor for students and parents.They don’t prepare you for college in the fact that they don’t help students try to receive grants, or apply for scholarships. They don’t reach out to students to help with college resources. You are all on your own in that regard.The pastor/leader of school loves sports. You can tell because students who play sports are looked as the most important people in the school. They can miss classes for games, practices, etc.I wish there would be more emphasis on things other than sports like art, photography, band, choir, etc.I believe they need more after school programs other than sports.Overall, I’d say this school needs a lot of change if they really want to reach students and truly prepare them outside of school.

Good. Wish they had some sort if After High School Counselor for the students & patents. On this you are on your own.

I went to State Line for a year overall I really enjoyed my time there! They could definitely use some work with the legalistic approach to Christianity there's so much that the teachers are completely clueless to. It was incredibly easy to get away with anything! they definitely have a problem with the hierarchy between the kids there

State Line is is truly one of the best schools in the world, and that's an understatement. With awesome teachers, that love and care for their students, to the incredible Bible teachings being taught, I think myself and the rest of the student body can agree that SLCS has made such an impact in our lives. If you're looking for a great christian, Christ-centered school, pick State Line, hands down.

Godly? I hardly think severe predjudices are Godly. We left as my sons felt highly uncomfortable with the lack of diversity in the student body, and with the questions they were bombarded with about their after school lifestyles. Ethnicity should NEVER interfere with education. I was very regretful, until I found Toledo Christian and my boys found where they belonged and were accepted. TCS had a truly Godly atmosphere and a wonderfully educated staff.

The solid foundation of a Christ centered education, practical academics and AMAZING teachers make this school by far an amazing chance and choice for teaching young minds the right path to head down. My son is in 7 the grade and we also attend the church. He has excelled in every area of his life. With the positive influences of Godly men and women there are NO downfalls or regrets!

This school will be just fine for your child if you want them to lose their sense of humor, lose their personal character and become a zombie drone. My daughter spent 2 years there and has never been the same since. I miss my happy girl. Stateline does not produce many happy children. Their staff is also under taught. It's a shame.
