We moved here a year ago from another district. My daughter absolutely loves school and her teacher. She has help when needed for some anxiousness she struggles with at times. They are always very compassionate and have excellent communication with me as a parent. The school is so much more involved when it comes to field trip learning as well as family interactions from what we are use to. This was a great move for our daughter.

This school is always working hard for the kids. They keep the kids excited about learning and even with the amount of students in the building you feel like everyone knows each other. The principal and parents have done a great job of pushing the district when class sizes are too large and kept the teacher student ratio low for most grades. We love DRE!

For so many reasons. Not only are the staff helpful and caring, but professional and bright. Whether I attend a school function or I am just dropping off our daughter for the day, I am always greeted with welcome smiles and hellos. If I have a question or concern, I have always been addressed promptly and with courtesy. Most of all our daughter is very happy and is thriving in 1st grade and we couldnt be happier.

My daughter attends Douglas Road Elementary. She has had a great experience since she has been here. I couldnt of asked for better teachers for her.
