The first thing administrators do when you have a personal problem with a teacher is check whether or not your grades are high. And if they are high then they completely dismiss the problems you have because surely you have 0 issues if your grades are high. If you have low grades then you’re barely treated like a human here. you’re forbidden to use the bathroom by some teachers simply because you have lower grades. being in this school’s air has made me physically sick.

This is a toxic place! Didn't realize how bad it was until we moved to one of top schools in Ohio. I'm a professional educator and am appalled at the quality of education here. The only reason it's rated a 7 is because there is a group of great families that value learning despite the poor teachers and leadership. Get out why you can, it will continue to get worse as Toledo moves North.

I agree that B.H.S. has excellent teachers, whether you are below average, at pace, or above average. The faculty all care about the students and want nothing but the best, from the lunch staff to the principal. The original facilities, however, is in dire need of repairs and is, and has been repeatedly neglected, which is leading it to is current state, which culminates to a student body lacking in spirit, despite the ceaseless efforts of the excellent teachers.
