My oldest son went to this school and had problems the whole time. My kids never experienced physical altercations until they attended this school . Some of the teachers are not as passionate as you expect teachers to be. They are very dismissive towards those that actually need help. There is no proper discipline whenever you enter the school trust me you will witness the behaviors. No one is held accountable at this school. Whenever you leave this school you’ll end up more confused than when you entered. Kids are being bullied at this school no one is being punished accordingly. The victims are being victimized as well.

Longfellow has a great Principal and Vice Principal who truly care about their students. It shows in how dedicated the teaching staff is and how involved the parents are. Longfellow is a wonderful school!

I love this school. I went to Longfellow as a kid and so far I love my kids going. I think the teachers there are down to earth and professional the whole staff has been completely respectable and involved. They could change the pick -up and drop-off though!!!

No lockers for my 7th grader!! He has to carry around a 70 pound bookbag every day with his curved spine which does not help but only hurts him daily. There is limited to no space available to him except sometimes a little "cubby" which holds next to nothing and there are not even enough for how many kids are in the classroom! He now doesnt want to wear a heavy coat due to having to carry it around with him daily and no where at all to put it. I cant believe there are no lockers and to think the school year just started and he has another year to go is very upsetting to me. The landscape outside needs a lot of work as well as it is an eyesore and the long driveway leading up to the school is full of pot holes etc. I have also observed the principal on more than one occassion and find her terribly lacking in her professionalism or attention to the students and what they need. I am not happy with this school at all.

A handful of the teachers are outstanding. Principal is not professional and lacks attentiveness to students. Not all but many of the students, 4th grade and up, are extremely vulgar, especially in the lunchroom. My son no longer attends this school.
