It's unfortunate to see what has happened with DeVeaux over the past couple years. I agree with and understand why my grandchildren will no longer be attending.

You guys have nothing on sports, arts,etc.I would like a some information on getting my son into sports.this shoe ideal with only having one other color is non sense.tell the teachers and the principal practice what you preach.

DeVeaux is a great school with lots of potential. I can't say enough great things about the staff and the TPS school district is on it's way to becoming something much more than it's been in decades. Dr. Durant and Principal Henderly are doing great things for our kids. The district lacks extracurricular activities and much of the arts but you can only blame the tax payers for that. Keep up the good work DeVeaux!

DeVeaux Elementary is a great school. Staff and principal are great. Not to many students go there. PTN does a wonderful job with planning events. Secretary is wonderful. Like most schools you do sometime run across issues. Some students want to learn some do not.

Deveaux was converted from a middle school to K-8 in 2010. They also have a brand new building as of 2009 (I think). Having a neighborhood K-8 school there is much better than when it was a middle school busing kids in from all over. My children, one of whom has an IEP, have been successful there, we have been happy with all the Teachers and the Principal is great.
