I love my daughter's school and was lucky enough to get her in for Kindergarten out of district. We have now moved and are in the Washington local district but I refuse to take her out because I love her school so much. I've never had an issue with any of her teachers, although I still haven't fully met the new principal. Overall I love how involved a lot of the parents are and the PTA. It's such a great little community.

We are overall unhappy. The 9/10 rating was misleading. The PTA was very closed and we received little information on how to be involved at the school. We were horrified to hear about the “leftover lunch program” as there was no monitoring and childhood obesity is so high (we understand the value of food available to children who are disadvantaged it that is why there is free lunches).

It's a 2/10. The school looks great on paper, but in reality it's not.

Staff is excellent and the kids are happy !Teachers go above and beyond to connect with the kids .Parent envolvment is outstanding lots of free great events put on by the pta.Elmhurst Elementary the very best place to learn

Watch out don't be fooled by this schools so called ratings THAT IS ALL they care about not the kids just the ratings that's all folks.

Elmhurst School is located in a quiet little neighborhood community. The staff is great and the school is beautiful. Our children have been so fortunate to attend Elmhurst which has been rated excellent the past 7 years. I wish all children could attend Elmhurst.

Elmhurst has definitely earned being rated a 'school of excellence' - the teachers/staff go above and beyond to ensure the children are getting the utmost out of their education. The students are very polite; the guards make it a point to wish the parents a 'great day'. Elmhurst is an amazing school!
