I am trying to transfer my son from Florida and no-one answers my calls nor returns my phone call. I have never experienced this before. I am trying to find the best options for my so and the unresponsiveness is deterring. The website is unfriendly and hard to understand. This is the worst experience I have had with any school. I am saddened by the lack of communication help and guidance. I truly hope this review can initiate a change in procedures to be more helpful to parents and prospective students because this school offers good opportunities.

My experience at this school is good because they have a good amount of homework and help the kids and there is no bullies in this school.

My school is great. All the students are kind and respectful and the professors truly want us to succeed. At times the work load did get a little stressful, but it was a great challenge. I just completed my freshman year at DECA and I'm looking forward to my sophomore year

My school is awesome solely because of the scholars, professors, administration and especially the parents. Our school is small in size but, HUGE in accomplishments. Just recently our school was named the number 1 school in Dekalb county. I love my school and I'm glad I choose to attend Dekalb Early College Academy. Lauryn S.

Hello, i am a proud parent of a Sophomore Scholar who attends DECA. I love the professors, the small classes that challenges my daughter skills and give her guidance for her future. The administrators and the program all together is simply fabulous. I feel it is a great opportunity for my daughter to get an education and prepare for college, while earning college credits. I would recommend DECA to any child who wants to strive ahead!

Dekalb Early College Academy is the best investment I ever made. For my child. The atmosphere is challenging and my child has matured dramatically.

I have been very pleased with the short class sizes and personal attention my daughter is receiving at DECA. The school is very focus and committed to the students succeeding and I appreciate the comment the entire school staff put toward making sure every child not just mine is growing and learning. I also appreciate how we as parents are kelp in loop on what's happening with school through emails or parents committee. Even though it's a small school I'm so glad it very big on what the students have the opportunity to earn. I feel more students and parents need to be made aware of the goodness DECA can give to any deserving student.

DECA is an excellent option for accelerated students in Dekalb County. Our daughter is a freshman, and we pulled her out of private school to attend this awesome program. They emphasize excellence from day 1 (actually, prior to day 1, they hold a summer bridge program for incoming freshman to ensure their success). Their is a palpable culture of achievement. We're very happy with the way the Professors stress accountability in the scholars, the remediation offered for students who need a little help (tutoring, web resources, etc.), and the high level of parental involvement. In fact, parents are more involved at DECA more so than the private school we left. To top it off, scholars are guaranteed an Associates degree (along w/their HS diploma) if they simply stay on course. I'd highly recommend DECA to any parent with a child who wants to achieve - and be supported in an environment of achievement.

My school is an amazing school where it's all about academics. We strive for the best and help each other just like any family would. DECA is a small school where we learn to respect ourself and learn on a college level. Being apart of this program has been one of the best things that has occurred in my life at the moment. Not only am I aiming for my associates degree, but I plan on completing college to years before I would normally if I went to a normal high school

I am a parent of a 10th grader at DECA. I love the school and the teachers. The program is a challenging one, so your child should want to be there. Would love if the school was located in a nicer building with windows. I think the school does deserves to get more attention from the county. Overall it's a great school.

I am a DECA patent of a GPC junior. DECA is a very challenging high school. It has prepared my child well for the rigors of college. If you want your child to receive the best education available in DeKalb County, with the opportunity to earn an associate's degree and a high school diploma, simultaneously, your daughter or son needs to be enrolled at the DeKalb Early College Academy.
