My grandchild attend school here. The teachers really care about the kids and the administration creates a safe environment for kids to learn and grow. We love going to the family events and Grandparent’s Day every year! We wish we had a school like Dayspring when our kids were younger.

This is a wonderful, small, family-like community that uses popular, Christian, homeschool curriculum to teach our kids in a well-rounded way, incorporating God into all aspects of their education. Classes are small, and each grade is all in one class. They are far more affordable than other private schools in the area. They handle discipline in a Christian way, teaching kids to follow the example of Christ in their relationships and values. The school is like a big family. Everyone knows everyone, and you can see great love in the staff for our kids. My kids are getting ready to go into their 3rd year at Dayspring after my health would no longer allow me to homeschool, and it's one of the best decisions our family has ever made!

We just moved from WI last yr and when we toured the year before we knew we wanted to come. This past school year has been great! The staff is amazing , the curriculum is great and there are Christian values shown daily!! Class sizes arw smaller to give children more time with a teacher. We love, love, love the school!

My household had greatly benefited from this school. We are a non-traditional family with both biological and foster/adoptive children. This school has been supportive and accommodating with the challenges presented in my children's circumstances. They have been surrounded with teachers that encourage a love of learning, seek to help them grow in their social/emotional skills, and encourage them in their relationship with the Lord. They are willing to work with my older student's academic plans in guiding them toward their passions and future career paths. Administration has been a huge support through the years and they handle both positive and negative situations with grace and wisdom. In short, we love this place.

This school is exemplary in what it means to be a Christian school. Taking and handling criticism the way every Christian should. The family’s and students respect teachers and other students. Overall it’s a fantastic school. It is a bastion of affordable Christian schooling in this community, and you get more then you ever payed for.

Dayspring has been a great fit for my family. The teachers demonstrate genuine care for the students and they create so many opportunities for hands-on learning. We have loved all of the new events, excellent communication, and opportunities to get involved this year. The academic and emotional support available are impressive for a Christian school and reflects the heart they have for students. I would recommend Dayspring without hesitation!

I have mixed feelings about Dayspring. First of all, the staff really cares for the students. The principal is excellent and desires the best for her students. However, the school is overseen by a board from the church. If you are a member of the church or you work at the school, you will know these people and be able to work with them. Otherwise, they will make decisions about your child without even contacting you.Our son was expelled for texting foul language to other students. I get that this was a final straw and I do not defend my son's actions. However, I have reviewed the texts and can say that his language was no different than the others in his class. The kids that go to the church are not being punished for cussing at my son or using racial slurs toward him. As parents we were not brought in to this discussion, though other parents were. All in all, this is a school for children that go to Dayspring Church. If you do not, you are not in the in-crowd and your child will be treated accordingly.

The faculty and staff at this school seem to be more concerned with cowing obedience than educating students. They have no regard for anyone who doesn't fit their idea of what a human should be. They publicly berate and ostracize students based on who their "favorites" are. It is hypocritical in the extreme to have a "strict no cell phone policy" for certain students, but not others. Meanwhile, in nearly every picture posted on their Facebook account, students can be seen on their phones. The reason that they instituted this policy is because a student had her cell phone stolen right out of her hand while walking on the sidewalk (unsupervised) from one building to the next. They are also dishonest and set false (or no) expectations for how students can excel. Their enrollment has been decreasing drastically and they have continued to lose teachers as well. This is one of the least expensive private schools in town and a prime example of "you get what you pay for."
