This school is really changing its environment. Administration has been working overtime to instill high expectations and behaviors in these students. This school went from a rough place to a place that is becoming one of the best in Springfield. Teachers and staff are the best around. Students are held to high standards and they are beginning to rise to those standards.

My daughter was bullied all year and then she was sexually assaulted by another student and it took five other kids reporting the kid to get him any kind of punishment

Students at Pipkin are growing at exponential rates due to a dedicated and strategic instructional planning team. As elementarys that feed Pipkin can grow student learning at a rapid rate, like Pipkin, the Pirates will be unstoppable with growth and achievement. Keep up the great work, leaders and teachers!

The school is unsafe. Our son faced violence and threats of violence on a daily basis and attempts to resolve anything only led to problems with the staff. Staff is also very condescending to parents

I would give zero star if I can, but this school staff is so unkind and does not care. It's supposed to be an IB school, but I don't see what is so special about them. I send my kids only because I have no other option, but I wish there was a better school near my home.

We moved into a different district and Pipkin seemed fine at first; teachers and staff were very welcoming. I love that!! Then my son got bullied not even a month into going. I did some research, and found many more incidents of bullying at this school and the poor way of how the school handled them. My son was excited to begin at Pipkin, but now does not want to continue to go there!
