- Submitted by parent on September 16, 2023I have recently relocated from California where our daughter attended The Hebrew Academy of Orange County in Huntington Beach, California. It was an amazing blue ribbon, Hebrew Day School. We loved that school and were scared when relocating back to Massachusetts where my husband and I are both from that we wouldn’t find anything as good. After being routed through many connections we found Striar Hebrew Academy School aka SHAS. This small school is a hidden gem. It is extremely small but is growing and I see it becoming a top notch school to send your kids to if you’re looking for a top notch education with general studies, Hebrew, and Judaic community instilling very important values and working on emotional intelligence as well. I found it to be the most well rounded Hebrew Day School closest to me in Norwood. We’re so thankful for having found this gem and hope you check it out too!
