Great School. Very active teachers. Many extra-curricular activities. The principal is very engaged. I left Boston Public Schools and my kids are improving a lot. Special Educations has a great team and my family are benefiting a lot from their knowledge and care. I am very satisfied and I strongly disagree with the score of 6/10 given by Great Schools website. A score of 9/10 would be more appropriate.

Very involved school community. Teachers, parents and students participate in numerous extra- curricular activities including 5th grade play, Fun Run, Carnival, Trivia Night, Spelling Bee, etc., Music program is excellent. Administrators and teachers are welcoming and inclusive.

Enthusiastic and committed community of learners. I have confidence the school is on the right track.

Highly-qualified teachers, but poor leadership and unhelpful administrative staff. The library is good. The Gym is mediocre. Cafeteria is too small. Students are only given 30 minutes lunch time, which including waiting in line to get food. You can imagine that some students at the end of the line barely have time to eat. The weirdest thing about this school is that they put all students outside the school building without much protection in the mornings before classes start.

After moving from a nearby town, we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming environment and professionalism of all staff at the Luce school. Our son has been accepted as part of the Luce community and is thriving with the compassionate support of the special education staff. We are very pleased with his progress and enjoy regular involvement in the schools programs.
