I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the outstanding support we've received from Berryessa Union School District, particularly from Mrs. Christy Boyd. She has truly made a positive impact on our experience as parents and has gone above and beyond in her role.From the moment we reached out with our concerns, Mrs. Boyd was quick to respond and address our issues. Her attentiveness and willingness to listen made all the difference. It's clear that she genuinely cares about the well-being of both students and parents, and she takes the time to ensure that every voice is heard.What impressed me the most was how swiftly she resolved our concerns. We felt supported every step of the way, and her proactive approach alleviated our worries. My son has been going to this school for the last 2 years. He has had excellent teachers, the office staff is wonderful and the principal is fantastic. The teachers are always willing to help the children in any way they can. the office staff is friendly and helpful and the principal is ready to work with the students and their families to accomplish the learning goals and positive atmosphere at the school. I love this school..

Great school, nice teaches and staffs. The programs are great, especially the free state funded after school program. All students in grades 1-5 qualify to participate in a free state funded after school program that provides a daily snack and supervised homework time, sports and games time, enrichment activities, special clubs, family events, and is open until 6:00 p.m. every school day. That is really awesome!

One of the worst staffing and teacher we have encounter in my kids life time. A few ok, but beware of a teacher wicth and the worst days of your kids 1st grade experience....! Nightmare to most parents...!

Summerdale was one of the worse schools I've ever had to deal with. Best move was moving my child from that school and paying for him to attend private. Front office staff was rude and so glad that I never have to deal with them again!

I am very pleased that my son is attending Summerdale school, he went to kindergarten there;home work , ST math and RAZ kids all those things help a child completely understand everything they learn not just superficial knowledge. My sons teacher Miss Gee was very nice and her way of teaching was very good, I am so glad that my kids are getting private school kind of education but free of any tuition from Summerdale elementary.

Our children are very happy at Summerdale. We have a 2nd grader and a 5th grader. The are both challenged with the work and I feel that I have great access to the teachers and the Principal. This school doesn't just say they care about the children, they show it it how they teach and work with the community. Excellent school.

The Teachers, Principal and the staffs are wonderful here at Summerdale! My son was transferred from another school and he just loves going school here. I help out in class once a week and love the dedication from the teachers and how organized they are. They plan out their day and always on top of things.
