I am thrilled to share my experience at St. Victor School! From the moment we enrolled, it was clear that this school is a nurturing and inspiring environment. The dedicated teachers go above and beyond to ensure every child feels valued and supported. The school community is warm and welcoming, with plenty of opportunities for parent involvement and activities that bring families together.Additionally, the facilities are well-maintained and provide a safe space for exploration and growth. The variety of extracurricular learning activities helps children develop strong interpersonal skills, fostering friendships activities—like art, music, and sports—allows children to discover their interests and talents.Overall, I definitely recommend St. Victor School to any parent looking for a positive, enriching environment for their child. It’s a place where kids not only learn academically but also grow into compassionate and confident individuals! Go Chargers!

All my 3 kids went, with one still a current student, to St Victor's School. I love that the teachers know the parents and more importantly, the students, beyond superficial level. I can just walk up to them anytime and ask about my kids without having to wait for a Parent-teacher conference. Utmost for me, however, is the environment and the friends my children have gained. The kids's friends/classmates are kind and respectful and I hope my kids would have them as lifelong friends. Lastly, the extra-curricular/elective offerings have been great, with numerous selection ranging from chess to robotics. This year, my daughter is taking Spanish and cooking. She is totally loving it!

When I first child went to this school, it was great up until the 7th and 8th grade when the good teachers started to leave. Academics started to go down. I hoped it will improve but it didn't. So I decided to move my other child to another school. It wasn't worth the increasing tuition costs.

Started off good but things get worst by the months. Not even Year.

The principal of this school is insincere and makes one bad decision after another. Beware!

My family's experience at St. Victor School has been mostly positive. Our grade school students have benefited from the small class sizes and tight-knit community. This is not something you can find at a large public school where your children's classmates and parents can remain anonymous for their entire time at the school. As with every other catholic school in the area, there is a Parent Participation Volunteer Hours program, but we approach it as an opportunity (or a way to force ourselves) to be more involved with the school and to get to know other parents. When seen that way it is actually a benefit that public schools and some private schools can't really match.

Excellent. As a parent I cannot think of a better and more nurturing school for my kids. Many of the parents are really involved in their children's school and sports programs.

The only thing attending Saint Victor's school grades K - 8 has managed to instill within me is a life long disdain towards Catholicism and polo shirts.

The school has some major problems. The only thing the school cares about is money. This year they are changing the computer lab to a preschool. Computers are a big part of today's world. In 2014, the school had a marathon type event to raise money for chromebooks for the eighth grade, yet there was still a chromebook fee in the eighth grade tuition. There were also textbook fees. While that is normal, 90% of the books have been taped together and have missing pages. The before and after school care is also very expensive, and that is the only option. The school also requires each family to participate in either 20 or 40 hours of community service. If a family does not meet the required hours there is a hefty fine for each hour not completed. Families must pay $400 as a annual gift to the school. They must also pay $300 as a classroom renovation fee. The school has many fundraisers for classroom renovations and technology, yet there are still fees relating to those subjects. There is also a huge problem with bullying and lack of punishment. There was this one student who told another student to kill herself over twitter. The student was not punished whatsoever. Many teachers have been leaving for the past year or two and that has lead to chaos within the placement of where each teacher should be. One of the teachers who is "specialized" in teacher middle school math is now the homeroom teacher of the fifth grade. Some of the rules are very excessive. For example, a student could get in trouble for have shoelaces that are not black or white.

St. Victor School has improved a lot over the years. They now have a new Electives Program where students choose the class they want, and Homework Period, where teachers are available to answer academic questions. Technology has increased, where students use iPads for class. New classrooms are being built. The HighSchools have great things to say about SV's graduates because they are successful in High School and beyond. St. Victor is a great Catholic school, as there are many spiritual activities offered to the students. They are true to their Student Learning Expectations of forming students who are Children of Faith, Life-long Learners, and Caring and Responsible Citizens. Students who exceptionally characterize these traits are recognized during the school year. There is no perfect school, but St. Victor School is a great school for children, Kindergarten to 8th grade. The parents are highly involved and work closely with the teachers to reach the students' academic, spiritual, and personal goals.

At St. Victor's middle school level, academics are low. The only reason you come this the middle school is for its great math program. The two math teachers are really good and make sure each student understand the materials. I scored above the 95th percentile in math for the HSPT because of these teachers. The english program lacks. The english program doesn't prepare you for standardized tests. Important things like punctuation and usage are not really taught at all. Punctuation and usage are main parts to standardized tests. I scored average on the language program of the HSPT because usage and punctuation are not emphasized in this program. The English program is to basic, just learning about nouns, adjectives, verbs, and adverbs. Literature is short stories with book quizzes. Students won't learn a lot of vocabulary. In science, students learn a lot if they don't stall the class, pretending to be confused. The science teacher assigns homework people don't do so extra classes are need to explain the lesson. Because of this, students are lucky to go past chapter 8 out 0f 14. In Social Studies, students learn a lot but the tests are too easy. Not normal school.

Academic is low, especially in science and technology. Parents are required to contribute 40 hours volunteer hours in various mundane activities that do not have constructive impact on the students but only benefiting the school financially. The after school program is extremely lacking. Students are not supervised during the homework session, and often come home with the entire set of homework unfinished. There isn't any extracurricular activity offered as part of the after school program, and it charges $6/hr plus a $7/MINUTE penalty fee for late pickup. Although this school is eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program offered by the Department of Education, they would rather have a hot lunch program run by parents where they only serve unhealthy fast food from Mc Donalds, Taco Bell, etc. There is no cafeteria, and no microwave for heating up lunch from home. We find that this school mainly focuses on making profits but not on the health, the well-being, and the success of the students. School is not gated, and anyone can be on campus during school hour. Under the poor leadership of the school principal, this school has been a great disappointment.
