It’s 2024 and there’s still no toilet seat cover? The bathrooms are dirty and the bathroom for TK and K are not in or near the classrooms. Teacher’s assistant have to walk students separately to the health office (located quite far away from my child’s class) to use the restroom which is super inconvenient in my opinion. Other than that the faculty is pretty old! TK and K shared the same play ground with older kids, so the playground is usually CROWDED and not safe for younger children. I really wanted to love this school since the teachers in the dual language immersion program are exceptionally skilled and friendly, however the cons have outweigh the pros thats why I pulled my kid out of Ben Painter after the second day of school.

Ben Painter Elementary School has its good and not so great points. The kindergarten teachers do a lot field trips. Our child was advanced and the teachers provided enough learning material for the very slow to the very advanced. There are many many parental involvement. One of the strength of this school are the free lunches and caring parents who donated their times and raise money for the school. The draw back is the school is very old and damaged. The drinking fountain busted and water squirted every where. It has not been fixed over a year now. The children's bathrooms do not have toilet seat cover and often not well supplied with tissues. The bathroom door is broken which could easily be fixed but nothing has been done in spite of parental complaint. Security is not good at this school as anyone can come through open gates and scoop up an unsuspecting child. The bullying is pretty intense at Ben Painters. Our child didn't want to come to school because she was bullied. It's a common theme here. Overall, it's a good school with lots of room for improvement. Teachers work very hard with parents to help students learn.

I like Ben Painter School very much I have two kids that are attending Ben Painter school and have a third child starting 2011. Just like other schools we have had our bumps here and there but with the wonderful staff and a wonderful Principal Ben Painter has, we are smooth sailing. My children are doing well in school my kids come home every day from school and we talk for two hrs just about what they have learned it's wonderful. The amount of homework they give the children is I think fair they give a little of each subject.I am there almost everyday taking my kids lunch and I always see the Pincipal and teacher's making sure the kids are safe and eating there lunch.

I love this school! This school has great teachers that are kind and fair. The principal is responsible and generous. The programs you can do there are very fun. If I had to leave this school,I'd be miserble.
