It takes a village to raise a kid! Merryhill San Jose is the perfect village for my kid. The teachers and staff remember the names of every kids and know their students individually. Not only academically learning, but also social emotional learning in this school. As a parent, I feel very comfortable to put my kid in this community and am confident my kid will turn to a better person in this environment! Highly recommended…

Kinder and first grades were great, could be happier but it started going downhill from there. 3 years later and I am not impressed with anything about this school. Outdated computer lab, science is a joke. Yo u can't claim to be a STEM school with the computer lab they have and the science they barely teach. Over a month into the 3rd quarter and not one bit of science done.

Wonderful, would recommend it to any parent. My child started in kindergarten and we can see the development through the year, making ready for next level.

My kid started here in Kinder readiness and continued to Kindergarten. I could see a lot of difference in him. Teachers build confidence and supports opinion of the kids.

My child went to this school for years, it wasn't till the last year and half or so is when we found out our child was being bullied. When we found out we notified the Principal (who is a joke) and that prompted a conference. When asked for a meeting with the parents to discuss what was taking place, the principal advised it was against school policy to meet with the families. The principal also said...I will not give a description of our meeting to any of the other parents Its important not to make anyone feel uncomfortable (so another words who cares about the child who was being bullied) Since the Bulling in the Principal eyes was not considered Bulling she basically swept it under the rug and told us what she is suppose to tell us but did NOTHING ABOUT. So the kids that where bulling my child had no consequences for their action. This has been a NIGHTMARE to our whole family and traumatizing to our child . We decided to pull our child out of this school and move her to another school in the middle of 5th grade. I STRONGLY suggest you do NOT send your child/children to this school and please spread the word.

A great school with excellent teachers. It feels like a family in Merryhill. The teachers are very caring, really understand the children's aptitudes and limitations, and the administrations are also caring and talented.Special mention to the teaching assistant Ms M. The kids just love her.My son is attending his kindergarten here and we could not ask for more. He loves his class and cannot stop talking about his teacher. We are so happy that we chose Merryhil for our son. The review is for Merryhill, San Jose.

Merryhill preschool is a beautiful campus with friendly staff in an environment that promotes education in a fun and stimulating way. My children started at merryhill school as babies and every classroom they have been in since has been a wonderful experience. The teachers, principal, curriculum and classrooms are the best you will find!

I notice the reviews are not current so am adding one. My son has attended since "Pre-K" (bit different than preschool) and is in 3rd grade now. The school was good to start with, but even better now. I can't disagree with an earlier review of "lacks organization" but this has changed dramatically with another principal in place now. Fundraisers? Yep, still there, but I wouldn't say "constant" and other schools seem the same. These extra funds provide extras; even in the private school setting. I think this school is a great blend of academic, community and overall general emphasis.
